I wanted to sound like a girl,\u201d she told the outlet before mentioning her friends wanting her to keep her deep voice. \u201cThey were like, \u2018You really got bars. Your voice just sound squeaky.\u2019 I was like, \u2018Oh, okay, let me just put emphasis on what I already sound like, just add a lil bit more sauce to it.&#8217;\u201d<\/p>\n<p>That advice proved to be fruitful for the Collective Music Group rapper as she found mainstream success with her breakout single \u201cF.N.F. (Let\u2019s Go).\u201d The song has since earned Glo her first Grammy nomination for Best Rap Performance at this year\u2019s awards ceremony, which take place on Sunday (February 5).<\/p>\n<div class=\"mobile outerAdHatch\">\n<div class=\"ad-border\">\n<div class=\"innerAdHatch\">\n<div id=\"contentUnit300\" class=\"adUnits\" inserted=\"shortcode\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>Later in her interview with <em>The Cut<\/em>, GloRilla expressed her excitement over attending the Grammys this year and potentially taking home the golden gramophone.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m super-excited and super-nervous because a lot of people don\u2019t get to go to the Grammys, you know what I\u2019m saying?\u201d she said. \u201cBut I\u2019m just super-grateful. And it happened to me super fast. I\u2019m still taking it all in.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>GloRilla also earned the 2022 <em>HipHopDX<\/em> Rookie of the Year award and was recently named in the Recording Industry Association of America\u2019s Class of 2022 after earning her first gold certification for her hit collaboration with Cardi B, \u201cTomorrow 2.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, the 23-year-old has recently been\u00a0fighting off pregnancy rumors. Fans began talking after an old image of her holding her belly surfaced online and she had to clear to air.
