The group was allegedly behind supplying <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/technology\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"4\" title=\"Technology\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">technology<\/a> to a Russian company following the country\u2019s invasion of Ukraine in February 2022, as well as supporting certain \u201csanctioned, state-owned Russian defense entities,\u201d including Rosoboroneksport and Rostec.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIgor Zimenkov was designated pursuant to E.O. 14024 for operating or having operated in the defense and related materiel sector of the Russian Federation economy,\u201d said OFAC. \u201cJonatan Zimenkov was also designated pursuant to E.O. 14024 for having materially assisted, sponsored, or provided financial, material, or technological support for, or goods or services to or in support of, Igor Zimenkov.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Treasury is taking more action as part of the U.S. strategy to methodically &amp; intensively target Russia&#8217;s sanctions evasion efforts around the globe, and to make it harder &amp; costlier for Russia&#8217;s military-industrial complex to re-supply Putin&#8217;s war machine.<a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/q7a6DIxhZg\">https:\/\/t.co\/q7a6DIxhZg<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Deputy Secretary Wally Adeyemo (@TreasuryDepSec) <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/TreasuryDepSec\/status\/1620808047911395334?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">February 1, 2023<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script>The BTC address provided by Treasury <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.blockchain.com\/explorer\/addresses\/btc\/bc1qfg4gfg0y6t6xjnpmlhuwx5k0wlw6nmfzxn2psc\">showed<\/a> no balance at the time of publication.
