One common category you might see is vaguely labeled as \u201cOther\u201d or \u201cOther Files.\u201d Unlike some categories, you usually can\u2019t explore what\u2019s inside \u201cOther.\u201d So what is it?<\/p>\n<p>Samsung Galaxy devices include an \u201cOther Files\u201d category. <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/shop-links.co\/link\/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.samsung.com%2Fuk%2Fsupport%2Fmobile-devices%2Fwhat-is-other-storage-on-your-galaxy-phone%2F&amp;publisher_slug=howtogeek&amp;exclusive=1&amp;u1=206591&amp;article_name=Android+Storage+Space+Running+Out%3F+How+to+Check+and+Fix+It&amp;article_url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.howtogeek.com%2F206591%2Fhow-to-see-whats-taking-up-space-on-your-android-device%2F\">According to the company, it simply contains data from apps, cached data, and temporary files that don\u2019t fall into the other categories. Essentially, it\u2019s a catch-all for miscellaneous things.<\/p>\n<p>While you can\u2019t delete items from the \u201cOther\u201d category in the Storage settings, you can do it from other areas. The good news is it\u2019s very easy to find things to delete.
