sightlines to the movie screen within the auditorium.<\/p>\n<p> AMC\u2019s stock<br \/>\n        AMC,<br \/>\n        <bg-quote field=\"percentchange\" format=\"0,000.00%\" channel=\"\/zigman2\/quotes\/200235402\/composite\" class=\"positive\">+11.84%<\/bg-quote><br \/>\n       rose 5.7% Monday, compared with the S&amp;P 500 index\u2019s<br \/>\n        SPX,<br \/>\n        <bg-quote field=\"percentchange\" format=\"0,000.00%\" channel=\"\/zigman2\/quotes\/210599714\/realtime\" class=\"negative\">-0.61%<\/bg-quote><br \/>\n       decline of 0.6%.<\/p>\n<div class=\"paywall\">\n       The ticket-price initiative offers three different options \u2014 standard sightline, value sightline and preferred sightline. Standard seats are the most common seats in an auditorium and are available for the traditional cost of a ticket. Value seats are in the front row, as well as select ADA seats, and are available at a lower price than standard-sightline seats. Preferred-sightline seats are typically in the middle of an auditorium and are priced at a slight premium to standard seats, according to AMC. Members of AMC\u2019s Stubs A-List will have the preferred-sightline premium waived for all reservations, according to AMC.<\/p>\n<p><strong>See: <\/strong>AMC sells stake in Saudi Arabia joint venture, shifts to licensing partnership<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSightline at AMC more closely aligns AMC\u2019s seat pricing <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>roach to that of many other entertainment venues, offering experienced-based pricing and another way for moviegoers to find value at the <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/watch-movies-tv-seriess\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"8\" title=\"Watch Movies &amp; TV Series\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">movies<\/a>,\u201d said Chief Marketing Officer Eliot Hamlisch, in an AMC statement. \u201cWhile every seat at AMC delivers an amazing moviegoing experience, we know there are some moviegoers who prioritize their specific seat and others who prioritize value moviegoing.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Theaters that offer Sightline at AMC will provide customers with a detailed map that clearly outlines each ticket option, according to the company. The initiative is applied to showtimes that start after 4 p.m. at participating locations, AMC said, and will not be available under the company\u2019s Discount Tuesday initiative.<\/p>\n<p>MarketWatch has reached out to AMC for additional details on the number of theaters offering Sightline at AMC.<\/p>\n<p><strong>See:\u00a0<\/strong>AMC\u2019s APE conversion a \u2018massive\u2019 opportunity to wipe out debt and drive expansion, says analyst<\/p>\n<p>AMC describes itself as the largest movie-theater company in the world, with approximately 950 theaters and 10,500 screens across the globe.<\/p>\n<p>Over the past two years, AMC has been on a roller-coaster ride that took it from beleaguered pandemic victim to meme-stock phenomenon.\u00a0AMC used the steep rise in its share price to tap into equity and debt markets, raising\u00a0$917 million\u00a0in January 2021.\u00a0<\/p>\n<div id=\"cx-membership-tile\"><\/div>\n<p>The company\u2019s AMC Preferred Equity Units, or APEs, made their trading\u00a0debut\u00a0in August. Through its APEs, AMC created something like a 2-for-1 stock split, marking the company\u2019s latest effort in a\u00a0fight over stock issuances. The name is a nod to the investors who turned the company into a meme stock, who often refer to themselves as \u201capes\u201d or \u201cape nation.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Related:<\/strong>\u00a0AMC stock tumbles after reporting 12th consecutive quarterly loss<\/p>\n<p>AMC\u2019s stock has fallen 29.9% in the past 12 months, compared with the S&amp;P 500\u2019s decline of 8.3%.
