Quality Control Music, the label home to Atlanta artists including Migos, Lil Baby, and Lil Yachty, has been acquired by Hybe America, the company led by Scooter Braun. Braun is perhaps best known as Justin Bieber&#8217;s manager. <i><a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2023\/02\/08\/arts\/music\/quality-control-hybe-scooter-braun.html\">The New York Times<\/a><\/i> estimates the deal to be worth around $300 million. <\/p>\n<div class=\"\" style=\"padding-bottom: 20px; margin-top: 20px; text-align: left;\">\n<\/div>\n<p>            Braun, who also manages Ariana Grande and Demi Lovato, has been the sole chief executive of Hybe America since January of this year and the Quality Control acquisition marks his first deal in the role. Hybe America is a division of the company which manages BTS and is a major player in the K-Pop world. <\/p>\n<p>            \u201cQC is one of the most significant independent labels in the world,\u201d Braun said in a statement to the <i>Times<\/i>. \u201cThey not only distribute music, but they also distribute culture. Their artists are the voices of their communities.\u201d<\/p>\n<div class=\"\" style=\"padding-bottom: 20px; margin-top: 20px; text-align: left;\">\n<\/div>\n<p>            The deal will see Kevin &#8220;Coach K&#8221; Lee and Pierre &#8220;P&#8221; Thomas at the top of the label, under the direction of Braun.
