If your webcam has one, open it, and you\u2019ll see your camera\u2019s view on your PC.<\/p>\n<p>If you\u2019re confident your webcam\u2019s lens isn\u2019t covered, you may have a software problem. The simplest fix is to\u00a0reboot your PC and then <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"#moka_anchor_disablecamerasettings\">toggle the camera off<\/a>\u00a0in Settings before <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"#moka_anchor_enablecamera\">turning it back on<\/a>. That will resolve most minor problems. If your camera still won\u2019t work, use Device Manager to update your webcam\u2019s drivers. This basically requires opening Device Manager, right-clicking your webcam, and choosing \u201cUpdate Driver.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>If you have an external webcam (meaning it\u2019s not built into your computer or monitor), ensure the camera\u2019s connection with your PC isn\u2019t loose. Unplug and re-plug the camera to make sure it\u2019s correctly connected, trying a different USB port if available.<\/p>\n<p>Lastly, keep in mind that not all laptops and monitors come with a camera, and sometimes internal cameras simply stop working altogether.
