He was 47.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n    A rep for Hollis\u2019 family said he passed away peacefully at his home outside Austin, TX on Saturday night. No details on the cause of death were provided, but his family confirmed he had been hospitalized recently for heart problems.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n    A charismatic executive, Hollis led distribution at Disney from 2011 to 2018 during an unprecedented winning streak for the movie studio. He played a key role in the relaunch of the\u00a0<em>Star Wars<\/em>\u00a0franchise, as well as the\u00a0<em>Avengers<\/em>\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/watch-movies-tv-seriess\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"8\" title=\"Watch Movies &amp; TV Series\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">series<\/a>,\u00a0<em>Frozen<\/em>\u00a0and Ryan Coogler\u2019s blockbuster superhero film<em>\u00a0Black Panther.<\/em><\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n    During Hollis\u2019 tenure at the studio, Disney experienced unprecedented box office growth, becoming the first studio to cross the $7 billion mark in global ticket sales in any one given year in 2016. The following year, the studio became the only studio to cross $6 billion twice.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n    Hollis surprised many when announcing he was leaving Disney to relocate his family to Texas to run his then-wife Rachel Hollis\u2019 company, home of podcasts, conferences and TV shows.
