class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Whats_happening\"><\/span>What\u2019s happening<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h6>\n<ul class=\"articleList\">\n<li>\n      The yield on the 2-year Treasury<br \/>\n        TMUBMUSD02Y,<br \/>\n        <bg-quote field=\"percentchange\" format=\"0,000.000%\" channel=\"\" class=\"\">4.494%<\/bg-quote><br \/>\n       slipped by 3.8 basis points to 4.503%. <\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n      The yield on the 10-year Treasury<br \/>\n        TMUBMUSD10Y,<br \/>\n        <bg-quote field=\"percentchange\" format=\"0,000.000%\" channel=\"\" class=\"\">3.689%<\/bg-quote><br \/>\n       retreated 1 basis point to 3.695%.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n      The yield on the 30-year Treasury<br \/>\n        TMUBMUSD30Y,<br \/>\n        <bg-quote field=\"percentchange\" format=\"0,000.000%\" channel=\"\" class=\"\">3.765%<\/bg-quote><br \/>\n       fell 1.2 basis points to 3.767%.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Two-year U.S. government bond yields, which are particularly sensitive to monetary policy, sit near their highest level since November, having risen sharply in recent sessions following more hawkish Federal Reserve rhetoric and upbeat economic <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/news\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"2\" title=\"News\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">news<\/a>.<\/p>\n<div class=\"paywall\">\n<h6><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Whats_driving_markets\"><\/span>What\u2019s driving markets<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h6>\n<p> Economists forecast that the headline annual CPI inflation rate will have dropped from 6.5% in December to 6.2% last month and the core reading \u2014 which s<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/trip-and-travel\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"10\" title=\"Trip &amp; Travel\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">trip<\/a>s out particularly volatile items like food and energy \u2014 to dip from 5.7% to 5.4%. <\/p>\n<p>However, the month-on-month readings are expected to be up 0.4%, compared to minus 0.1% in December, and a core unchanged at 0.3%.<\/p>\n<p>Even if the CPI report matches expectations the market is pricing in an 88% probability that the Fed will raise interest rates by another 25 basis points to a range of 4.75% to 5.0% after its meeting on March 22nd, according to the CME FedWatch tool. <\/p>\n<p>The central bank is expected to take its Fed funds rate target to 5.2% by August 2023, according to 30-day Fed Funds futures.<\/p>\n<p>U.K. government bonds are bucking the broader market, with 10-year gilt<br \/>\n        TMBMKGB-10Y,<br \/>\n        <bg-quote field=\"percentchange\" format=\"0,000.000%\" channel=\"\" class=\"\">3.448%<\/bg-quote><br \/>\n       yields up 2.3 basis points to 3.426% following stronger-than-expected employment data.<\/p>\n<h6><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"What_are_analysts_saying\"><\/span>What are analysts saying<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h6>\n<p>\u201cEverything in the last few weeks has pointed to near-term upward pressure on U.S. inflation in the early part of this year even if it eventually falls more sharply later in the year,\u201d said Jim Reid, strategist at Deutsche Bank.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWill markets and the Fed look through this if it h<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>ens?
