Source: <\/em><em><a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">YouTube<\/a><\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>A governance proposal was passed by the Mango DAO following the draining of its treasury that saw Eisenberg keep a portion \u2014 $47 million \u2014 of the pilfered funds as a bug bounty along with a stipulation that Mango wouldn\u2019t pursue legal action.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEisenberg transferred funds totaling approximately $67 million to Mango Markets,\u201d the attorneys wrote, adding:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cWeeks later, eligible Mango Markets\u2019 members received reimbursement from the Mango Markets treasury. At that point, all involved considered this matter closed and Mr. Eisenberg heard nothing further from Mango Markets.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Mango, however, said in its suit that the settlement should be voided as it was made \u201cunder duress\u201d and alleged Eisenberg \u201cwas not engaged in lawful bargaining.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>Eisenberg\u2019s attorneys rebuffed these claims, saying the \u201cimproper three-month delay\u201d for Mango filing its suit \u201cundermines any alleged irreparable harm.\u201d The lawsuit, they say, aimto \u201ctake advantage\u201d of Eisenberg\u2019s December arrest in Puerto Rico by United States authorities.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Related: <\/em><\/strong><strong><em>Alleged Mango Markets exploiter waives bail during hearing in federal court<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Eisenberg was charged by the Federal Bureau of Investigation with commodities fraud and manipulation.<\/p>\n<p>He also faces a lawsuit from the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission that alleges market manipulation and a suit from the Securities and Exchange Commission for violating securities laws relating to anti-fraud and market manipulation.<\/p>\n<p>Eisenberg has previously stated his trades on Mango were \u201clegal open market actions, using the protocol as designed,\u201d and called his purported attack a \u201chighly profitable trading strategy.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><template data-name=\"subscription_form\" data-type=\"law_decoded\"><\/template><\/div>\n<blockquote><p><strong><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">If you liked the article, do not forget to share it with your friends.
