Opening night is scheduled for May 18.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n    Soderbergh most recently directed <em>Magic Mike\u2019s Last Dance<\/em>, after breaking out with films such as <em>Traffic<\/em>,<em> Erin Brockovich <\/em>and the<em> Ocean\u2019s<\/em> <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/watch-movies-tv-seriess\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"8\" title=\"Watch Movies &amp; TV Series\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">series<\/a>. In addition to his film work, Soderbergh has worked as a theatrical director, creating and directing the play <em>Tot Mom<\/em> at the Sydney Theatre Company in December 2009 and directing the world premiere of Scott Z. Burns\u2019 play <em>The Library<\/em> at New York\u2019s Public Theater in April 2014. He said he was drawn to this piece because of the writing.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n    \u201cI\u2019d never entertained the idea of producing a play until I read Emma Sheanshang\u2019s <em>The Fears<\/em>,\u201d he said. \u201cHer unique voice and specific blend of character, emotion, and story left me feeling \u2018PEOPLE SHOULD REALLY SEE THIS,\u2019 and so the adventure begins now.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n    <em>The Fears <\/em>follows a group of \u201cfractured souls\u201d who meet weekly at a Buddhist center in New York City in order to seek solace and guidance. A new member attends the group and doesn\u2019t know the rules, which creates \u201cheated confrontations and deep meditations on how finding peace in a city of millions can be insanely hilarious,\u201d according to the production.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n    Stage and film producer John N. Hart Jr. is serving as executive producer for the play.
