The decision comes several months after the ends of their respective seasons: <em>Game Changers<\/em> concluded in November 2022, and <em>Big Shot<\/em> had a binge release in October.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n    The writing has perhaps been on the wall for both shows: After the surprising ouster of Peter Rice from Disney in June, a source at the company cited the decision to renew <em>Big Shot<\/em> and <em>The Mighty Ducks<\/em> after their first seasons as examples of Rice\u2019s <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.wsj.com\/articles\/disney-ceo-bob-chapek-supported-peter-rice-until-he-didnt-11655165544\">\u201cquestionable deal-making.\u201d<\/a> <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n    As is usually the case with streaming <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/watch-movies-tv-seriess\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"8\" title=\"Watch Movies &amp; TV Series\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">series<\/a>, detailed viewing data for the pair isn\u2019t available; neither show managed to crack the top 10 of Nielsen\u2019s streaming rankings during their runs. Outside of Marvel and <em>Star Wars<\/em> properties, <em>The Santa Clauses<\/em> is the only Disney+ show to crack those charts.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n    <em>The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers<\/em> is a continuation of the 1990s movie franchise about a youth hockey team. Lauren Graham headed the cast; Emilio Estevez reprised his role as coach Gordon Bombay in season one but left the show ahead of the second season. Josh Duhamel played the male adult lead in season two. Josh Goldsmith and Cathy Yuspa served as showrunners.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n    John Stamos stars in <em>Big Shot<\/em> as a disgraced college basketball coach who takes a job coaching the team at a private all-girls school. David E.
