Handy has continued to make music that\u2019s adamantly earnest and far too strange to swim in the mainstream. 2022 saw Lucy collaborating with <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=l3fzVkQoggo&amp;ab_channel=CooperHandy\">Drain Gang\u2019s whitearmor<\/a>, <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=YCPU8IIC4Zo&amp;ab_channel=CooperHandy\">Surf Gang\u2019s evilgiane<\/a>, and his old friend Gods Wisdom. Today (February 17), kicking off the new year six weeks in with a solo single titled \u201cStrange As Can Be.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>            Like David Berman\u2019s 2019 classic \u201c<a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=EhQjp-P4y34&amp;ab_channel=PurpleMountains-Topic\">She\u2019s Making Friends, I\u2019m Turning Stranger<\/a>,\u201d the new track is about creeping feelings of alienation from loved ones. Where Berman\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>roach was straightforward, Lucy comes at the problem less directly: \u201cTry to be wholesome \/ We all have different ideas \/ We have different ideas \/  Of what it means to be wholesome,\u201d he sings, freaking out over a romantic pursuit in a way he later describes as feeling \u201clike a dog again when I chase my own tail.\u201d<\/p>\n<div class=\"\" style=\"padding-bottom: 20px;
