In her first big Hollywood production, the British actress, then 38, drew on her heritage \u2014 her father had been born in Russia \u2014 to play the Russian cosmonaut Tanya Kirbuk, who commands a ship on its way to Jupiter.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n    She would later admit: \u201cThe <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">script<\/a> was somewhat incomprehensible to me and the role was not the best. The story was, however, prescient in that it foretold the joint America-Russian missions into space that happened after the collapse of Communism.\u201d Nevertheless, she <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/game\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"7\" title=\"Game\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">game<\/a>ly joined in the movie\u2019s promotion at the fest, at one point appearing flanked by two guys dressed in space suits.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n    Mirren returned to Berlin in 2015 with the film\u00a0<em>Woman in Gold<\/em>\u00a0and had an unfortunate stumble on the red carpet at the movie\u2019s world premiere. But she was on surer footing in 2020, when she was presented with an Honorary Golden Bear for lifetime achievement. \u201cHelen Mirren is a strong personality whose powerful portrayals are always impressive. She surprises us time and again with her interpretation of complex characters \u2014 whether it\u2019s Chris in\u00a0<em>Calendar Girls<\/em>\u00a0or Queen Elizabeth II in\u00a0<em>The Queen<\/em>, her portrayals are a paradigm of strong women,\u201d said Mariette Rissenbeek, executive director of the Berlinale.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n    Accepting the ursine-shaped trophy, Mirren joked, \u201cHe\u2019s very cute.
