Discovery.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n    The two partners described the agreement as \u201ca multi-year, multi-faceted content and platform agreement,\u201d which will keep HBO\u2019s prestige hits like <em>House of the Dragon<\/em>, <em>The Last of Us<\/em>, <em>Succession<\/em> and<em> The White Lotus <\/em>with Foxtel, as well as Max Originals and other Warner Bros. Discovery content. Anticipated forthcoming <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/watch-movies-tv-seriess\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"8\" title=\"Watch Movies &amp; TV Series\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">series<\/a> like <em>Dune: The Sisterhood<\/em>, <em>The Batman<\/em> spinoff <em>The Penguin<\/em> and J.J. Abrams\u2019 <em>Duster<\/em> series are also included under the deal.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n    Foxtel, a Rupert Murdoch-controlled company, currently counts 4.4 million pay-TV and streaming subscribers across its services in Australia. With the help of HBO content, the company\u2019s flagship Binge streaming service has quickly scaled to 1.44 million subscribers\u00a0since its launch in May 2020. Data from local research group <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Media<\/a> Partners Asia suggests that content from the previous Foxtel-WBD deal, signed in 2020, accounted for as much as 54 percent of Binge\u2019s viewership in the fourth quarter of 2022.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n    Foxtel Group CEO Patrick Delany celebrated the deal as confirming his company\u2019s status as the \u201cpartner of choice\u201d in Australia for Hollywood\u2019s top studios. But he also noted the deal included flexibility, reflecting the extent to which both partners\u2019 streaming strategies are still under development.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n    \u201cWe are delighted Warner Bros. Discovery chose us as we continue our long-standing partnership together with optionality at its core,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n    Under CEO David Zaslav, WBD has pressed pause on its previously ambitious international rollout plans for HBO Max, as the company focuses on profitability and finalizes its post-merger streaming product for HBO Max\/Discovery+. Foxtel, meanwhile, is developing a new streaming aggregator product that it will launch in Australia before the end of 2023.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n    Added Delany: \u201cA unique business model like ours that covers multiple platforms and brands means we can partner for the long term, and together we will continue to entertain millions of Australians every day for years to come.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n    It <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>ears likely that the partnership will be evolved into an aggregation or bundle deal if and when WBD launches its streaming service directly in Australia. But in the meantime, the new agreement continues Zaslav\u2019s strategy of aggressively licensing the Warners library to boost the studio\u2019s bottom line.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n    Other WBD content covered under the deal includes: returning seasons of internationally acclaimed HBO Original series including <em>Euphoria<\/em>, <em>True Detective: Night Country<\/em>, <em>Winning Time: The Rise of the Lakers Dynasty<\/em> and <em>Perry Mason<\/em>; Warner Bros.
