If you don\u2019t want the screen to auto-rotate when you tilt the device, you can disable the feature.<\/p>\n<p>Android\u2019s \u201cAuto-Rotate\u201d feature\u2014along with various sensors\u2014is what allows the display to rotate content when you rotate the device. Without Auto-Rotate enabled, the device will be locked into the current orientation. We\u2019ll be talking a lot about \u201cportrait\u201d and \u201clandscape\u201d mode in this guide\u2014what do these terms mean? Portrait and Landscape are the two orientations your Android device\u2019s display can, well, <em>display<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPortrait\u201d mode is when your phone is being held vertically, whereas \u201clandscape\u201d mode is horizontal. You probably scroll through <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">social media<\/a> in portrait mode and watch videos in landscape more, for example.
