The city has been <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-i13n=\"cpos:1;pos:1\" href=\"https:\/\/www.batimes.com.ar\/news\/argentina\/drug-related-violence-soars-to-critical-levels-in-rosario.phtml\" data-ylk=\"slk:plagued by drug violence;cpos:1;pos:1\" class=\"link rapid-noclick-resp\">plagued by drug violence<\/a> in recent years. Nobody was injured in the attack on the Unico supermarket owned by the family of Messi&#8217;s wife Antonella Roccuzzo.<\/p>\n<p>Before fleeing, the gunmen left the note naming Messi and Rosario&#8217;s mayor Pablo Javkin, police said, <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-i13n=\"cpos:2;pos:1\" href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/article\/messi-supermarket-attack-gunmen-rosario-bullets-ce420f9d5d0daa06c3faccb8838b32d9\" data-ylk=\"slk:according to The Associated Press;cpos:2;pos:1\" class=\"link rapid-noclick-resp\">according to The Associated Press<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMessi, we\u2019re waiting for you,&#8221; the note reads. &#8220;Javkin is also a drug trafficker, so he won\u2019t take care of you.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Messi has not publicly addressed the attack.
