To learn more about your device\u2019s processor, you first need to look at your system information. Under \u201cMemory Specifications,\u201d Intel says the CPU has a \u201cMax Memory Size\u201d of 128 GB.<\/p>\n<h2 role=\"heading\" aria-level=\"2\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Windows_11_RAM_Requirements\"><\/span>Windows 11 RAM Requirements<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Windows 11 needs at least 4GB of RAM to run. Any less and the operating system won\u2019t be able to perform even the most basic of functions smoothly\u2014like watching videos and using a web browser.<\/p>\n<p>If you try to do such tasks with less than 4GB, you will get a lot of lag.\u00a0For example, videos may need to buffer a lot, and browsing the web results in pages loading slower.<\/p>\n<h2 role=\"heading\" aria-level=\"2\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"How_Much_RAM_Does_Windows_11_Use\"><\/span><a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" name=\"autotoc_anchor_3\">How Much RAM Does Windows 11 Use?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Expect the Windows 11 operating system itself to use around 4GB of memory.
