Paul Sizemore called his older brother &#8220;larger than life.&#8221; <\/p>\n<p class=\"\">&#8220;He has influenced my life more than anyone I know. He was talented, loving, giving and could keep you entertained endlessly with his wit and storytelling ability,&#8221; Paul Sizemore said in a statement. &#8220;I am devastated he is gone and will miss him always\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Sizemore collapsed at his home in Los Angeles after a brain aneurysm Feb. 18 and doctors were never able to revive him. Mike Horvath in \u201cSaving Private Ryan,\u201d which came out in 1998 and won five Academy Awards. From \u201895 to 2001. It\u2019s not a coincidence they\u2019re the most prolific years, and my career was building.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">\u201cMy poor judgment, the drug abuse. I take full responsibility for,&#8221; Sizemore said. <\/p>\n<p class=\"\">&#8220;I wish I hadn\u2019t done it. I couldn\u2019t believe it was h<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>ening to me. It\u2019s that simple. I don\u2019t want to die. Already, my mother hasn\u2019t slept for three years.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">The lowest points of his public life came during a yearslong criminal case in Los Angeles County when he was accused of beating up his girlfriend at the time, former Hollywood madam Heidi Fleiss.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">He was convicted in 2003 of beating and threatening Fleiss, and sentenced to six months in jail. Sizemore in 2005 insisted he didn&#8217;t hit her.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Even after the Fleiss conviction, he had continued, drug-related run-ins with the law.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">A judge jailed Sizemore in 2005 for violating probation after he allegedly failed drugs tests and even tried to use a fake penis to <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.today.com\/popculture\/actor-tom-sizemore-taken-custody-wbna6954261\">falsely pass clean urine<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p class=\"\">He was <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.today.com\/popculture\/tom-sizemore-arrested-drug-possession-1C9423111\">arrested outside a Bakersfield<\/a>, California, hotel in 2007 on a charge of possession of methamphetamine.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">All those brushes with the law took their toll on Sizemore&#8217;s family, particularly his mother and father, the actor said in 2005.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Thomas Edward Sizemore Jr.\u00a0was born Nov. 29, 1961, in Detroit to Judith Sizemore, a civil servant, and Thomas Sizemore Sr., a lawyer.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">He studied <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/today.wayne.edu\/news\/2000\/08\/16\/wsu-achievement-awards-highlight-celebration-of-the-arts-1125\">theater at Wayne State University <\/a>before getting one of his first big Hollywood screen credits in the critically acclaimed 1989 Vietnam War movie, &#8220;Born on the Fourth of July,&#8221; which was directed by Oliver Stone. <\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Sizemore teamed up with Stone five years later in &#8220;Natural Born Killers.&#8221; <\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Hollywood success opened the door to a never-ending flow of booze and drugs, which Sizemore said he abused despite the best efforts of his friends, such as fellow actor Robert DeNiro and director Michael Mann, to keep him sober.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">From the red carpet of &#8220;Saving Private Ryan,&#8221; Sizemore would end up with another screen credit with far less acclaim, <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.today.com\/popculture\/dr-drew-checks-out-celebrity-rehab-6C9751586\">the VH1 reality show<\/a> &#8220;Celebrity Rehab.&#8221; <\/p>\n<p class=\"\">\u201cI am very, very sorry to those people I did mislead, which is a euphemism for \u2018lied to.\u2019 Robert De Niro and Michael Mann particularly, (for) taking a very big interest in me as a man and as a performer and as a person with a disease and I went to rehab several times,\u201d he told The Associated Press in 2013. <\/p>\n<p class=\"\">\u201cI\u2019m very, very sorry for the people that I hurt, especially my father.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">In addition to his twin sons and brother, Sizemore is survived by <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.today.com\/popculture\/tom-sizemore-hospitalized-aneurysm-rcna71380\">ex-wife Maeve Quinlan<\/a> and former girlfriend <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.today.com\/popculture\/tom-sizemore-told-stay-rehab-wbna9359303\">Janelle McIntire<\/a>, who gave birth to Jagger and Jayden Sizemore.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Quinlan in Friday&#8217;s statement said her heart was with Tom Sizemore and his family. <\/p>\n<p class=\"\">&#8220;Most especially, my thoughts and prayers go out to Tom\u2019s two sons, Jayden and Jagger.\u00a0May God hold you both in the palm of his hand, give you strength and bless you all the days of your lives,&#8221; she said. <\/p>\n<p class=\"\">A private cremation service will be held and a larger celebration of life event will be planned in a few weeks, Lago said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"endmark\">&#8220;The Sizemore family has been comforted by the hundreds of messages of support and love shown to their son, brother and father,&#8221; said Lago, who called Sizemore a personal friend and mentor.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<blockquote><p><strong><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">If you liked the article, do not forget to share it with your friends.
