He also urged diversity, saying, \u201cWe can choose what stories we get to tell.\u201d Hamilton wasn\u2019t in attendance and colleagues accepted, reading thanks to those including Tom Cruise and Chris McQuarrie.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n    Also on Sunday at UCLA\u2019s Royce Hall, Ken Schretzmann and Holly Klein collected the animated feature prize, for their work on <em>Guillermo del Toro\u2019s Pinocchio<\/em>; and Erin Casper and Jocelyne Chaput topped the theatrical feature documentary competition with <em>Fire of Love<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n    In the categories for <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/watch-movies-tv-seriess\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"8\" title=\"Watch Movies &amp; TV Series\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">series<\/a> episodes, Eddie winners included John M. Valerio for the \u201cArrivederci\u201d episode of<em> The White Lotus<\/em>; Simon Smith for the \u201cOne Way Out\u201d episode of <em>Andor<\/em>; and Stephanie Filo, Bradinn French, Taylor Joy Mason and S. Robyn Wilson for the \u201cSave My Edges, I\u2019m A Donor\u201d episode of <em>A Black Lady Sketch Show.<\/em><\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n    \u201cThere are not many post teams that look like us,\u201d said Filo of the <em>Black Ladies Sketch Show<\/em>\u2018s team of Black editors. \u201cWe hope to see so many more that look like us.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n    <em>The Woman King <\/em>director Gina Prince-Bythewood was honored with the Golden Eddie Filmmaker of the Year Award, presented by her<em> Love &amp; Basketball <\/em>star Sanaa Lathan. \u201cYou have given generations of girls and and women of color, heroes that look like them,\u201d Lathan said. \u201cYou are a fierce woman just like your Woman King.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n    Accepting at her alma mater, the director recognized her team, especially her \u201cforever editor\u201d Shropshire, who is \u201cembedded in the DNA of my work.\u201d She urged the community to give more artists an opportunity, saying too many are \u201clocked out not because of a lack of talent, but a lack of opportunity.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n    Bryan Cranston presented a Career Achievement Award to Emmy- and Eddie-winning <em>Breaking Bad <\/em>editor Lynne Willingham. He received <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>lause as he said she has established herself \u201cnot as a female editor, but an editor.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n    \u201cI didn\u2019t get her alone,\u201d she said, thanking family, friends and colleagues from assistants to producers. She got a laugh when she thanked her husband and fellow editor Chris Willingham for his notes.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n    Oscar-nominated editor\u00a0Don Zimmerman\u00a0(<em>Coming Home, Heaven Can Wait<\/em>) also received a Career Achievement Award. Presenting, director Dean Parisot remembers landing a meeting with \u201cBig D\u201d when he was looking for an editor for <em>GalaxyQuest<\/em>. His wife and editor, the late Sally Menke, warned him, \u201cDon\u2019t mess it up.\u201d They became great collaborators and friends, who Parisot described as a mentor.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n    Zimmerman thanked his colleagues, friends and family (including several who work in the business) and the \u201clifelong friendships\u201d he has made. \u201cMany of you all experience your own amazing journey and longevity in this industry as I have.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n    Additional presenters included\u00a0<em>RRR<\/em> director S.S.
