On February 22 the 42-year-old construction executive decided to attend a <strong>Louisiana State University<\/strong> basketball <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/game\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"7\" title=\"Game\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">game<\/a> with an unnamed client, then go for a drink at <strong>Happy\u2019s Irish Pub<\/strong> to close out the evening. Sadly, this would be the last time anyone saw him alive.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Related:\u00a0<span class=\"breadcrumb_last\" aria-current=\"page\">LSU Student\u2019s Death By Car Accident Leads To Horrifying Twist<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<div class=\"clear\"><\/div>\n<p>According to <em>WBRZ<\/em>, around 11:30 p.m. the bar had cut Millard off due to being too intoxicated. Surveillance video shows the dad of five stumbling out of the bar and walking back toward his hotel, <strong>Marriott Baton Rouge<\/strong>, which is about a two-minute walk from the pub. He would never make it back to his hotel room.<\/p>\n<div style=\"min-height:120px;width:100%;float:none;\">\n<div id=\"section-64069473440d0-paragraph-slot\" class=\"lazyload-unit\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>The unnamed client he saw the night before raised alarm when Millard didn\u2019t show to the job site at 8 the next morning like they\u2019d originally planned. By 9 a.m. the client decided to go to the hotel and request a wellness check, as the victim\u2019s wife <strong>Amber Millard<\/strong> told <em>11Alive<\/em>. The wellness check concluded he was nowhere to be found in the hotel premises, but soon after his wallet and phone were found a few blocks away. According to the missing dad\u2019s friend <strong>Matt Still<\/strong> via <em>Fox <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/news\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"2\" title=\"News\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">News<\/a> Digital<\/em>, police showed the family footage of someone using Millard\u2019s debit card. The first transaction was reportedly a cash withdrawal while the last transaction was on the Saturday night following his disappearance. Since then the card has been frozen.<\/p>\n<p>Sadly, Still said this is the only information the family has:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<div class=\"clear\"><\/div>\n<p>\u201cThey haven\u2019t provided any footage \u2026 or any information other than that.\u201d<\/p>\n<div style=\"min-height:120px;width:100%;float:none;\">\n<div id=\"section-64069473440d4-paragraph-slot\" class=\"lazyload-unit\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Many <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Facebook<\/a><\/strong> search groups popped up to try and assist in finding the missing father, using surveillance footage released by the hotel to narrow down just what happened. On Monday, though, the community\u2019s search would come to a tragic end. According to Houston-based missing persons search group <strong>Texas EquuSearch<\/strong>, Millard\u2019s body was found early in the morning after someone driving by reported a \u201cfoul odor\u201d in the area. The Georgia native was found rolled in carpet and wrapped in plastic in a vacant parking lot a few blocks away from where he was last seen. An autopsy is currently underway to determine his cause of death. Just awful\u2026<\/p>\n<p>His grief-stricken wife told <em>WXIA<\/em> on Wednesday she didn\u2019t expect her final call with her husband to be the last time she\u2019d ever see him:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<div class=\"clear\"><\/div>\n<p>\u201cIt was not anything I ever thought would be my last call. My mind has been going nonstop, but I can\u2019t let my mind torture me.\u201d<\/p>\n<div style=\"min-height:120px;width:100%;float:none;\">\n<div id=\"section-64069473440d7-paragraph-slot\" class=\"lazyload-unit\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Millard leaves behind his wife, two teenage sons, two teenage stepsons, and a 7-year-old daughter.<\/p>\n<p>Such a heartbreaking situation. We\u2019re sending his family love and light.
