His casting comes less than a year after <em>Black-ish<\/em> concluded its eight-season run, which netted Anderson six Emmy nominations for lead actor in a comedy <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/watch-movies-tv-seriess\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"8\" title=\"Watch Movies &amp; TV Series\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">series<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n    Additionally, <em>Public Defenders<\/em>, created by Eddie Quintana, has t<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>ed Liz Astrof as showrunner and Randall Einhorn as director. Both will also serve as executive producers along with Quintana (<em>Acapulco<\/em>), Anderson, E. Brian Dobbins, and Wonderland Sound and Vision\u2019s McG, Mary Viola and Corey Marsh.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n    <em>Public Defenders <\/em>will follow four young public defense lawyers, \u201cup to their earholes in student debt,\u201d who work to keep their clients out of jail. \u201cAlong the way, they have to rely on each other to navigate\u00a0their first defendants, the absurd court system and the copy machine that always jams.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n    Anderson will play Marshall, the lead deputy attorney at public defender\u2019s office, who sees it as his mission to turn his charges into cutthroat defense lawyers. Though he\u2019s described as \u201calways angry,\u201d he eventually shows that he is deeply protective of his deputies.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n    Astrof most recently created and ran Fox\u2019s <em>Pivoting<\/em>. Her credits also include <em>The Conners, 2 Broke Girls<\/em> and <em>Raising Hope<\/em>. Einhorn\u2019s directing credits include <em>Abbott Elementary, The Office<\/em> and <em>Parks and Recreation<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n    Anderson is repped by UTA, Artists First, Goodman Genow and Initiative PR.
