Source: <\/em><a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.courtlistener.com\/docket\/66631291\/105\/united-states-v-bankman-fried\/\"><em>CourtListener<\/em><\/a><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The letter also noted the superseded indictment against Bankman-Fried unsealed on Feb. 22 that bumped the number of charges from eight to 12, with new charges relating to conspiracy and fraud. <\/p>\n<p>Bankman-Fried pleaded not guilty to the original eight charges brought against him in December 2022.<\/p>\n<p>One of Bankman-Fried&#8217;s lawyers, Christian Everdell, wrote in the letter:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cDepending on the volume of the additional discovery and the timing of the productions, it may be necessary to request an adjournment of the trial, currently scheduled to begin on October 2, 2023.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>\u201cWhile we are not making such an <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>lication at this time, we wanted to note this issue for the Court now,\u201d Everdell added.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Related: <\/em><\/strong><strong><em>Lawyers\u2019 picnic: FTX counsel and advisers rake in $34M in January<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Bankman-Fried is currently released on a $250 million bond. He has been under house arrest in Palo Alto, California at his parent&#8217;s house and his online activities are restricted.<\/p>\n<p>The schedule for the trial and bail conditions will be discussed at a hearing on Friday, Mar. 10.<\/p>\n<p>The FTX founder alsfaces separate fraud-related civil lawsuits from the Commodities Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) and the Securities Exchange Commission (SEC) \u2014 both have been delayed until after Bankman-Fried\u2019s criminal trial.<\/p>\n<p><template data-name=\"subscription_form\" data-type=\"law_decoded\"><\/template><\/div>\n<blockquote><p><strong><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">If you liked the article, do not forget to share it with your friends.
