The awards, the first offshoot of the long-running People\u2019s Choice Awards, will take place at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville and air on NBC and Peacock. NBCU owns the People\u2019s Choice brand and made an equity investment in Opry Entertainment Group (along with venture capital firm Atairos) last year.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n    \u201cWe\u2019re excited to partner with the Grand Ole Opry to bring the year\u2019s biggest celebration in country music to Nashville,\u201d said Cassandra Tryon, senior vp live events at NBCUniversal Television &amp; Streaming. \u201cCountry fans are passionate about their music, and there\u2019s no better place to host this event than from country music\u2019s biggest stage.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n    The People\u2019s Choice Awards has several music categories, including country artist of the year (Carrie Underwood won in 2022), but its primary focus has long been <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/watch-movies-tv-seriess\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"8\" title=\"Watch Movies &amp; TV Series\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">movies<\/a> and television.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n    The People\u2019s Choice Country Awards will join the CMA Awards (broadcast by ABC), the Academy of Country Music Awards (on Amazon\u2019s Prime Video) and the CMT Music Awards (on CBS and the show\u2019s namesake cable outlet).
