Disney+ has announced the action-comedy <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/watch-movies-tv-seriess\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"8\" title=\"Watch Movies &amp; TV Series\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">series<\/a> will arrive in May with the release of a trailer.<\/p>\n<p>Starring Michelle Yeoh, Ke Huy Quan, Ben Wang, Yeo Yann Yann, Chin Han, Daniel Wu, Jimmy Liu, Sydney Taylor, and Stephanie Hsu, the series is a coming-of-age story based on the graphic novel by Gene Luen Yang. In the story, \u00a0Jin Wang (Wang) is a child of Chinese immigrants. He struggles with both his school life and his home life. When Jin meets a new foreign exchange student, the two become fast friends, but Jin is pulled into a battle between Gods of Chinese mythology.<\/p>\n<p><span id=\"more-140458\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Disney+ revealed more about the series in a press release.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Disney+ revealed the <strong>May 24<\/strong> premiere date for the Disney+ Original series \u201cAmerican Born Chinese,\u201d in a newly-released :30 TV spot. This :30 first look at the genre-hopping action-comedy from Disney Branded Television series produced by 20th Television, celebrates the show\u2019s three Oscar nominees: Michelle Yeoh, Ke Huy Quan and guest star Stephanie Hsu.<\/p>\n<p>Based on the graphic novel of the same name by Gene Luen Yang, \u201cAmerican Born Chinese\u201d tells the story of Jin Wang, an average teenager juggling his high school <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">social<\/a> life with his home life. When he meets a new foreign student on the first day of the school year, even more worlds collide as Jin is unwittingly entangled in a battle of Chinese mythological gods.<\/p>\n<p>The coming-of-age adventure features an all-star international cast, including Academy(R) Award-Nominees and Golden Globe winners Michelle Yeoh and Ke Huy Quan (\u201cEverything Everywhere All at Once\u201d), Ben Wang (\u201cChang Can Dunk\u201d), two-time International Emmy Award nominee Yeo Yann Yann (\u201cWet Season\u201d), Chin Han (\u201cMortal Kombat\u201d), Daniel Wu (\u201cReminiscence\u201d), former Taekwondo champion Jimmy Liu and Sydney Taylor (\u201cJust Add Magic\u201d). Academy(R) Award nominee Stephanie Hsu (\u201cEverything Everywhere All at Once\u201d) guest stars.<\/p>\n<p>Emmy(R) Award-winning writer\/producer Kelvin Yu (\u201cBob\u2019s Burgers,\u201d \u201cCentral Park\u201d) serves as executive producer and showrunner.
