However, it\u2019s easy, and it gets the job done.<\/p>\n<h2 role=\"heading\" aria-level=\"2\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"How_to_Print_an_iPhone_Text_Message_Transcript\"><\/span>How to Print an iPhone Text Message Transcript<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Printing a transcript of an iPhone text message conversation will require third-party software and a Windows or Mac PC. Unlike when <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.howtogeek.com\/877074\/how-to-print-text-messages-from-android\/\">printing text messages on Android, there\u2019s not a good way to get a transcript of text messages with an app on the iPhone itself.<\/p>\n<p>There are several desktop apps that can do the job, but many of them are not free. We\u2019ll be using an app called \u201c<a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/redirect.viglink.com\/?key=e7eab128eb8d1c53e14db14f4c632447&amp;u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.imobie.com%2Fanytrans%2F&amp;cuid=xid:{xid}&amp;___trxnet=vg\">AnyTrans<\/a>\u201d that has a free three-day trial. We can use it to create a printable transcript of individual conversations.<\/p>\n<p>Download the app for <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/redirect.viglink.com\/?key=e7eab128eb8d1c53e14db14f4c632447&amp;u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.imobie.com%2Fanytrans%2F&amp;cuid=xid:{xid}&amp;___trxnet=vg\">Windows<\/a> or <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/redirect.viglink.com\/?key=e7eab128eb8d1c53e14db14f4c632447&amp;u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.imobie.com%2Fanytrans%2F&amp;cuid=xid:{xid}&amp;___trxnet=vg\">Mac<\/a> and plug your iPhone to your PC with a USB cable. The transcript is a much neater presentation, but it does come with the downside of appearing more easily editable. Both of these methods work, but neither one is perfect. Thankfully, it\u2019s much easier to print other things from an iPhone or iPad. The iPhone Messages app also has some really nice features built-in\u2014just not printing.
