Fink highlighted the rising and sustained interest in these types of assets despite the FTX catastrophe. <\/p>\n<p>He said beyond the hype, \u201cinteresting developments\u201d are h<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>ening in the space. He especially noted the \u201cdramatic advances\u201d in the digital payment solutions that help forward financial inclusion in many emerging markets like India, Brazil and Africa. <\/p>\n<p>However, according to Fink, developing markets are not at the same pace innovation-wise:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cBy contrast, many developed markets, including the U.S., are lagging behind in innovation, leaving the cost of payments much higher.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>BlackRock currently manages around $8 trillion in assets and is one of the largest asset managers in the world. Fink said the asset management industry could have some \u201cexciting applications\u201d of the <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/technology\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"4\" title=\"Technology\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">technology<\/a> underlying these digital asset innovations. <\/p>\n<p>Specifically, he praised the tokenization of asset classes with their potential in \u201cdriving efficiencies in capital markets, shortening value chains, and improving cost and access for investors.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>His statement ended not leaving out the risks and need for regulation of the crypto space but still pointing out that the company will be further exploring digital assets going forward. <\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Related: <\/em><\/strong><strong><em>It\u2019s not the end of crypto: EU asset manager gives 5 reasons why<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This is not the first time Fink has made commentary on decentralized finance. After the fall of FTX, he\u00a0commented that the FTX Token\u00a0(FTT) caused the exchange\u2019s downfall because it goes against \u201cthe whole foundation of what crypto is.<\/p>\n<p>However, in the same conversation, he openly called the underlying technology of crypto and the blockchain revolutionary.<\/p>\n<p>Back in September 2022, BlackRock\u00a0released a new exchange-traded fund\u00a0that invests in 35 blockchain-related companies. <\/p>\n<p><template data-name=\"subscription_form\" data-type=\"markets_outlook\"><\/template><\/div>\n<blockquote><p><strong><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">If you liked the article, do not forget to share it with your friends.
