Everyone has been on Team Ariana \u2013 taking things as far as to boycott his and best friend <strong>Tom Schwartz<\/strong>\u2019s restaurant, <strong>Schwartz &amp; Sandy\u2019s<\/strong>. Sandoval attempted to do some damage control by apologizing to his loved ones and everyone involved in the establishment \u2013 making no mention of Ariana at first, who was devastated by the affair:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cSchwartz &amp; Sandy\u2019s might have my name on it, but also there are 3 other partners and 20 employees, who especially rely on the restaurant for income for them and their families. Just like TomTom, I\u2019m a small part of a much bigger thing. However, the damage was already done by then. And the backlash continues to get worse for Sandoval as more details about the sordid affair with Raquel come out. Things are not looking good for the <strong>TomTom<\/strong> co-owner, especially when it comes to his business ventures. And in the case of the worst timing, it looks like Sandoval has a new project he\u2019s been working on amid the cheating scandal!<\/p>\n<p>According to <em>The US Sun <\/em>on Thursday, the Bravo television personality has been \u201csecretly working\u201d on fixing his business empire \u2013 by working with the alcohol manufacturer <strong>Dumbass Whiskey<\/strong> to bring the liquor to California. The owner <strong>Peter Spicer<\/strong> explained to the outlet:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<div class=\"clear\"><\/div>\n<p>\u201cAt the moment we\u2019re in the process of launching in the state of California with a distributor. So we\u2019re supposed to be launching with RNDC (Republic National Distributing Company). It\u2019s kind of an exciting time for that as well. California will be opening, and that\u2019s sort of like our benchmark state because [Tom &amp; Tom] are out in California and with their restaurant, we\u2019ll be able to do a lot more focus [there] than we can in New Jersey.\u201d<\/p>\n<div style=\"min-height:120px;width:100%;float:none;\">\n<div id=\"section-64150c761cbd9-paragraph-slot\" class=\"lazyload-unit\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The Toms worked with Peter on creating their small-batch whiskey product called, <strong>Toms\u2019 Good Lovin\u2019<\/strong>, which is featured at their restaurant and online. Yeah, that name did not age well. The two are acting as promoters for liquors, meaning they are paid a marketing fee that\u2019s not affected by the sale of the products. So there\u2019s a chance Sandoval will be doing whatever he can to make sure this business move goes off without a hitch, so he can rack in some cash just in case his other ventures fail amid the scandal.<\/p>\n<p>While Peter has been in contact with Sandoval since his affair came to light, he noted their conversations have only been \u201cbusiness related.\u201d As for how their business is going? He claimed everything has been running smoothly \u2013 other than some \u201cnasty emails\u201d from fans:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<div class=\"clear\"><\/div>\n<p>\u201cI can\u2019t say, at this point, if [\u2018Scandoval\u2019] affected it negatively or positively. But the thing that I\u2019m enjoying about it is there seems to be an awareness out there. More people are expressing an interest \u2013 whether it\u2019s positive or negative \u2013 I think that people are aware of the brand.\u201d<\/p>\n<div style=\"min-height:120px;width:100%;float:none;\">\n<div id=\"section-64150c761cbdd-paragraph-slot\" class=\"lazyload-unit\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Peter added:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cI\u2019ve always been been told, \u2018No PR is bad PR,\u2019 and I\u2019m still on the fence as far as, you know, the question of, \u2018Is it a PR stunt that they\u2019re doing for the show?\u2019 I don\u2019t know. I\u2019m not on the inside, so I\u2019m not quite sure.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<div class=\"clear\"><\/div>\n<p>Sandoval\u2019s restaurant on the other hand? Well, it doesn\u2019t seem to be doing so hot! The other co-owner of Schwartz &amp; Sandy\u2019s, <strong>Greg Morris<\/strong>, also told the outlet that people have written \u201chate messages\u201d on platforms like <strong>Yelp<\/strong> and <strong>Google<\/strong> to try and stop people from dining there:<\/p>\n<div style=\"min-height:120px;width:100%;float:none;\">\n<div id=\"section-64150c761cbe1-paragraph-slot\" class=\"lazyload-unit\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cIt is reckless, irresponsible and callous to call for the boycotting or making blatantly false allegations against a business that was not involved in these people\u2019s personal lives. This has taken a toll on a lot of people who have been honest and hardworking to make Schwartz &amp; Sandy\u2019s a place that serves the community.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>He continued:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<div class=\"clear\"><\/div>\n<p>\u201cMost of us [workers] are still reeling from the pandemic and have only tried to find a way back, we will continue our efforts to provide a place for people that come from a place of positivity and support.\u201d<\/p>\n<div style=\"min-height:120px;width:100%;float:none;\">\n<div id=\"section-64150c761cbe5-paragraph-slot\" class=\"lazyload-unit\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Oof. His employees should not have to suffer the consequences of Sandoval deciding to fool around with Raquel behind Ariana\u2019s back for months.
