No cause of death has been revealed, though his passing reportedly \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>ears to be natural.\u201d The FADER has reached out to the Los Angeles Police Department for more information.<\/p>\n<div class=\"\" style=\"padding-bottom: 20px; margin-top: 20px; text-align: left;\">\n<\/div>\n<p>            Born in Baltimore, Maryland, Reddick was a dutiful student of the fine arts, receiving a Bachelor of Music degree at the University of Rochester\u2019s Eastman School of Music and attending Yale\u2019s School of Drama for a Master of Fine Arts (\u201cI started acting because I thought it would help my music career,\u201d Reddick told <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/global\/2010\/jun\/07\/lance-reddick-beyond-the-wire\"><i>The Guardian<\/i><\/a> in 2010). After a run of guest roles in the &#8217;90s, Reddick appeared as John Basil in HBO&#8217;s prison drama <i>Oz<\/i>. <\/p>\n<p>            In 2001 he was cast in <i>The Wire<\/i>, an HBO drama program widely regarded as the greatest <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/watch-movies-tv-seriess\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"8\" title=\"Watch Movies &amp; TV Series\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">series<\/a> ever filmed, chronicling the police department in Reddick\u2019s hometown. Reddick played Cedrick Daniels, a straight-laced and ambitious lieutenant whose formidable skills are often at odds with his troubled past, an unorthodox team, and less-than-ethical superiors. <i>The Wire<\/i> ran for six seasons with Reddick appearing in all but two of its 60 episodes. <\/p>\n<div class=\"\" style=\"padding-bottom: 20px; margin-top: 20px; text-align: left;\">\n<\/div>\n<p>            Outside of <i>The Wire<\/i>, Reddick had a fruitful career in television, films, and video <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/game\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"7\" title=\"Game\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">game<\/a>s. He regularly played police figures like the mysterious Phillip Broyles in Fox\u2019s cult sci-fi series <i>Fringe<\/i> and Chief Irvin Irving in <i>Bosch<\/i>. In the <i>John Wick<\/i> franchise, he can be seen as the hotel concierge Charon, lending an air of authority to the action franchise\u2019s fantastical world of secretive assassin groups.
