The move comes after Kaplan expressed displeasure about SBF\u2019s use of encrypted-messaging <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>s and virtual private network (VPN) services while out on bail.<\/p>\n<p>Legal proceedings around FTX\u2019s downfall led SBF to avoid possible jail time with a $250 million bail bond. However, while on bond, the entrepreneur used Signal, an end-to-end encrypted messaging service, to contact former FTX and Alameda colleagues. Kaplan forbade SBF from using such apps and threatened to revoke bail privileges if he acted out of order.<\/p>\n<p>Following up on this order, Bankman-Fried\u2019s lawyer, Christian Everdell, revealed on March 18 that SBF and federal prosecutors \u201chave been working diligently to agree on a set of specific bail conditions that will address the concerns expressed by the government and the court,\u201d Bloomberg <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bloomberg.com\/news\/articles\/2023-03-18\/bankman-fried-close-to-proposing-revised-bail-package-to-judge?srnd=cryptocurrencies-v2\">reported<\/a>. In the letter, Everdell stated:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cWe believe we are close to a resolution and anticipate being able to present the court with a proposed order outlining these conditions by next week.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>SBF maintains\u00a0his\u00a0innocence in claims relating to the misappropriation of FTX users\u2019 funds.
