It offers affordable unlimited-data plans\u00a0and comes with some cool perks, including Wi-Fi access outside your home. Now, Google Fi is testing a free trial system with a limited number of users.<\/p>\n<p>The week-long Google Fi trial was announced in a <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/redirect.viglink.com\/?key=14d03d76e0a6285761e58439513dfd19&amp;u=https%3A%2F%2Ffi.google.com%2Fabout&amp;cuid=xid:{xid}&amp;___trxnet=vg\">Reddit thread<\/a>, of all places. It includes unlimited data, talk, and text, plus VPN access and\u00a010GB of hotspot tethering. It\u2019s an interesting proposition\u2014you can test Google Fi before leaving your carrier, which could help you test for dead zones and other problems.<\/p>\n<p>Unfortunately, this trial requires an eSIM-compatible smartphone.\u00a0eSIM is a new <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/technology\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"4\" title=\"Technology\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">technology<\/a> that eliminates the need for a physical SIM card, but it\u2019s only supported by a handful of smartphones (such as the Google Pixel 7, the iPhone 14, and the Samsung Galaxy S23).<\/p>\n<p>If you\u2019re confused about eSIM, I suggest using the <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/redirect.viglink.com\/?key=14d03d76e0a6285761e58439513dfd19&amp;u=https%3A%2F%2Ffi.google.com%2Fcompatibility&amp;cuid=xid:{xid}&amp;___trxnet=vg\">Google Fi compatibility checker<\/a>. It will tell you if your phone is compatible with Google FI\u2014look for \u201cSIM-free setup\u201d after selecting your phone to see if it supports eSIM.<\/p>\n<p>You can sign up for the free trial on the <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/redirect.viglink.com\/?key=14d03d76e0a6285761e58439513dfd19&amp;u=https%3A%2F%2Ffi.google.com%2F&amp;cuid=xid:{xid}&amp;___trxnet=vg\">Google Fi website<\/a>. Unfortunately, an official launch date hasn\u2019t been confirmed. And because Google is <em>testing<\/em> this trial system, I suspect that some people won\u2019t even see the option to start a trial.
