\n Put on that British stiff upper lip, Jo.<\/p>\n

A nasty online review of The Cowshed at Hucknall, penned by a woman named Jo, triggered a storm of snark from the pub\u2019s owner that took her down like a left hook.<\/p>\n

Jo claimed she and a group of relatives spent \u00a3700 \u2014 about $935 \u2014 on booze and food at the watering hole before \u201cstaff with awful attitude\u201d asked them to leave, British news<\/a> outlet The Sun reported. <\/p>\n

\u201c[They] didn\u2019t mind taking the \u00a3700 though, I have never been spoken to in such a way,\u201d Jo wrote on Facebook<\/a>. \u201cMaybe they should be open to reviews and yes our family member was sick and YES WE CLEANED IT UP \u2013 so no members of staff were affected by this.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cMaybe a course for your staff in customer service wouldn\u2019t go amiss \u2013 rude staff huffing and puffing because they had a large round to bring out!\u201d<\/p>\n

Well, the Nottinghamshire restaurant took the scathing post as fightin\u2019 words, even if the family had come to mark the 50th birthday of Jo\u2019s sister-in-law.<\/p>\n

The partiers, the owner fired back, had brought staffers to tears and behaved beyond badly \u2014 fighting with each other, smashing glasses and even smearing birthday cake on a table.<\/p>\n

\u201cWith the ironic exception of the young adults that were in your group and one or two others, you all acted like belligerent, entitled little toddlers from the moment you walked through our gates.<\/p>\n

But the pushback didn\u2019t stop there. The team set Jo straight about just how much cash her group laid out \u2014 \u00a3225, verified by receipts and CCTV.<\/p>\n

And this was the punch that knocked Jo out: \u201cRather than treat our staff like human beings that are just trying to earn a wage, you decided to treat them like your own personal servants, clicking your fingers, shouting, swearing and barking your orders at them, to the point one was almost in tears and refused to deal with you any more.\u201d<\/p>\n

Cowshed followers went wild.<\/p>\n
