But episode four\u2019s celebrity guest star \u2014 the Grammy-winning Billie Eilish \u2014\u00a0has delivered one of the <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/watch-movies-tv-seriess\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"8\" title=\"Watch Movies &amp; TV Series\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">series<\/a>\u2019 buzziest <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>earances. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n    Set between 2016 and 2018, Swarm follows Dre (Dominique Fishback), a fan of the fictional Beyonc\u00e9-esque music icon Ni\u2019Jah, whose love for her favorite singer crosses the line from obsessive to murderous. It\u2019s a group led by Eilish\u2019s Eva, whose warm and inviting nature hides something more sinister underneath. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n    Eilish, who is in her acting debut, was suggested by <em>Swarm<\/em> casting director Carmen Cuba, Nabers told <em>The Hollywood Reporter<\/em> (Nabers\u2019 full interview publishes on Monday). \u201cWhen she pitched [Billie Eilish] for the role of Eva, we were like, \u2018Oh, she\u2019s really cool! The women wear the same colors and share the same body brands. Eva, the \u201cfemale empowerment\u201d group\u2019s executive director, hosts training and healing sessions with Dre, who gets lured in following a hike. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n    It\u2019s reminiscent of several Hollywood-adjacent cults, most clearly the NXIVM cult, which involved actresses like Alison Mack, who is currently serving a three-year prison sentence. Nabers has said Eilish\u2019s character was inspired by that cult and it\u2019s leader Keith Raniere, who\u00a0was\u00a0sentenced\u00a0to 120 years in prison and fined $1,750,000 in the high-profile sex-trafficking case.<\/p>\n<p><center><\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-instagram wp-block-embed-instagram\"\/><\/center><\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n    \u201cThere is a cult that existed in the world that was very prominent during that time,\u201d Nabers tells <em>THR<\/em>, referencing NXIVM (see <em>THR<\/em>\u2018s 2018 cover story on Mack and NXIVM). \u201cAnd that is the kind of true-crime element to that episode. And I think that when people think of the idea of artists or celebrities, there is this idea of thinking about the cult of Taylor Swift, or the cult of the Beatles or whatever. What we were really interested in was just seeing someone who worships at the altar of \u2018something,\u2019 and (exploring) this idea of what is the cult of the mind.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n    Eventually, Eva\u2019s entrancing aura turns dark, her manipulations of Ni\u2019Jah\u2019s biggest fan pivoting to unsettling threats after Dre begins to seriously question the women she\u2019s surrounded by.
