\n A man was fighting for his life after being shot in the head in East Flatbush Saturday, police said.<\/p>\n

The unidentified victim was struck once in front of 2303 Bedford Ave. shortly before 6 p.m., authorities said. The wounded 37-year-old was taken to Kings County Hospital and was not expected to survive the shooting, police said.<\/p>\n

The shooter fled the scene in a dark-colored vehicle, authorities said. Radio transmissions described the car as possibly a \u201cblacked-out\u201d Mercedes.<\/p>\n

As of late Saturday afternoon, one New Yorker had been killed and another left critically injured in a spate of overnight shootings in the Bronx and Brooklyn that left seven others hurt.\n <\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
