Knight will work on a <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">script<\/a> for the project from Oscar-winning filmmaker Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy, who also helmed episodes of <em>Ms. Marvel<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n    The move comes <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/abovetheline.com\/2023\/03\/20\/star-wars-damon-lindelof-justin-britt-gibson-exit-secret-movie-lucasfilm\/\">after the departures<\/a> of <em>Lost\u2019<\/em>s Damon Lindelof and up-and-coming writer Justin Britt-Gibson departed the project. Lindelof began work on the film in July 2022, secretly holding a two-week session with writers to break a story before he and Britt-Gibson went off to write the script that sources say will take place after 2019\u2019s <em>Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n    <em>Rise of Skywalker<\/em> was a turning point for <em>Star Wars<\/em>, as it concluded the Skywalker Saga that began with the 1977 original film. <em>Rise of Skywalker<\/em> unfurled just weeks after the Disney+ era of <em>Star Wars <\/em>began with <em>The Mandalorian<\/em>, the breakout hit that helped power the streaming service as its flagship show and became a phenomenon in large part to Baby Yoda.  <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n    No date has been set for the movie, though Disney has a <em>Star Wars<\/em> feature set for Dec. 19, 2025. The move comes ahead of next month\u2019s Star Wars Celebration in London, where Lucasfilm is expected to reveal more about its big-screen plans.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n    In addition to the Cillian Murphy period drama <em>Peaky Blinders<\/em>, Knight is known for his Oscar-nominated screenplay for <em>Dirty Pretty Things<\/em>, and for penning features such as <em>Spencer<\/em> and creating <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/watch-movies-tv-seriess\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"8\" title=\"Watch Movies &amp; TV Series\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">TV series<\/a> such the Jason Momoa Apple TV+ series <em>See<\/em>.
