He said that a car near the scene gave law enforcement \u201cclues\u201d into who she was. <\/p>\n<aside class=\"ad-unit ad-unit--mr2_ab\"><\/aside>\n<p>The woman \u2014 whose name has yet to be released \u2014 entered the school through a side entrance, police said. Law enforcement officials said that they responded to a call about the shooting at 10:13 a.m. on Monday and cleared the first floor of the school. Officers then heard gunshots on the second floor, where they engaged with the shooter, who was then shot and killed by police. <\/p>\n<p>Officials said the suspect was dead by 10:27 a.m. <\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Names_and_ages_of_the_victims_have_not_been_released\"><\/span>Names and ages of the victims have not been released<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Law enforcement officials have not released the names or the ages of the victims of the shooting yet.<\/p>\n<aside class=\"ad-unit ad-unit--mr3_ab\"><\/aside>\n<p>Drake said at Monday\u2019s press conference that the three child victims were identified and that their parents have been notified, but declined to say their ages. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cRight now I will refrain from saying the ages, other than to say, I was literally moved to tears to see this and the kids as they were being ushered out of the building,\u201d he said. <\/p>\n<p>Officials\u00a0<a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/NashvilleFD\/status\/1640381880968118273\">said that a reunification area<\/a>\u00a0was established at a nearby church after the shooting. <\/p>\n<aside class=\"ad-unit ad-unit--mr4_ab\"><\/aside>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"What_US_officials_are_saying\"><\/span>What US officials are saying<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>President Biden said on Monday that the shooting was \u201csick\u201d and noted that it was \u201ca family\u2019s worst nightmare,\u201d while reiterating his calls for gun reform and an assault weapons ban. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe have to do more to stop gun violence. It\u2019s ripping our communities apart. It\u2019s ripping at the very soul of the nation. We have to do more to protect our schools so they aren\u2019t turned into prisons,\u201d Biden said in remarks at a women\u2019s business summit.<\/p>\n<p>Biden said that it\u2019s time for more \u201cprogress\u201d to be made and called on Congress to pass an assault weapons ban.
