Here are 10 things you need to know about the 2020 VMAs host.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"1_Her_real_name_is_Lauren_Keyana_Palmer\"><\/span>1. Her real name is Lauren Keyana Palmer.<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>She was given that name by her ex-actor parents after she was born in the Chicago suburb of Harvey, Illinois, on Aug. 26, 1993. So, yes, she just turned 27 and will no doubt continue the birthday celebration at the VMAs!<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"2_As_a_kid_she_went_toe_to_toe_with_Oscar_nominees\"><\/span>2.
