While Trump denies the alleged affair, he paid her $130,000 through his lawyer for her silence before the 2016 election. A leading theory is that charges could be because the payment was improperly filed and constitutes a campaign expense.<\/p>\n<aside class=\"ad-unit ad-unit--mr1_ab\"><\/aside>\n<p>\u201cTrump is no longer untouchable,\u201d Daniels told the Times of London. \u201cA person in power is not exempt from the law. And no matter what your job is, or what your bank account says, you\u2019re held accountable for the things you\u2019ve said and done, and justice is served.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>While specific charges against the former president \u2014 a first \u2014 have not been revealed, he is expected to give himself up to Manhattan authorities this week. If he does not surrender, he will likely be arrested and extradited to New York.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s vindication,\u201d Daniels said. \u201cBut it\u2019s bittersweet. He\u2019s done so much worse that he should have been taken down [for] before. I am fully aware of the insanity of it being a porn star. But it\u2019s also poetic; this pussy grabbed back.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Trump\u2019s pending arrest is expected to result in widespread protests, especially in New York. The New York Police Department asked every officer to report in uniform Friday at 7 a.m. following the <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/news\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"2\" title=\"News\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">news<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier this month, Trump incorrectly predicted that he would be arrested last week. In that message, he called for massive protests, invoking language similar to that used before the Jan. 6 insurrection.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhatever the outcome is, it\u2019s going to cause violence, and there\u2019s going to be injuries and death,\u201d Daniels said. \u201cThere\u2019s the potential for a lot of good to come from this. But either way, a lot of bad is going to come from it, too.\u201d<\/p>\n<aside class=\"ad-unit ad-unit--mr2_ab\"><\/aside>\n<p>She said that she has received a large amount of threats because of the indictment.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe number and the intensity is the same as it was the first time around, but this time it\u2019s straight-up violent,\u201d she said. \u201cThe first time it was \u2018gold digger\u2019, \u2018slut\u2019, \u2018whore\u2019, \u2018liar\u2019 whatever. And this time it\u2019s \u2018I\u2019m gonna murder you\u2019. They\u2019re way more violent and graphic.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Manhattan District Attorney is also investigating a second hush money payment to Playboy model Karen McDougal.
