\n You really have to watch the video to see how scary Thursday night turned\u00a0for Sen. Rand Paul and his companions \u2014 surrounded by scores of angry, ignorant goons threatening to kill them.<\/p>\n

It was one of several mobs of Black Lives Matter \u201cprotesters\u201d that freely roamed the streets of our nation\u2019s capital during and after\u00a0President Trump\u2019s acceptance speech at the White House, besieging attendees as they left.<\/p>\n

One crew surrounded Paul (R-Ky.), along with his wife and two others, as well as two cops \u2014\u00a0scores of people furiously screaming in their faces, threatening to kill them and demanding Paul say the name Breonna Taylor, the African-American EMT shot by cops in a no-knock raid in Louisville.<\/p>\n

Someone yelled, \u201cWe\u2019ve got Rand Paul trapp<\/a>ed!\u201d\u00a0Yet, for a group supposedly intent on justice, they were remarkably ignorant of the fact that Paul is one of the Senate\u2019s chief criminal-justice reformers and\u00a0wrote the Justice for Breonna Taylor Act, which would ban no-knock raids like the one that led to Taylor\u2019s death.<\/p>\n

Video shows the mob refusing to let the group move until more police arrive and escort them to their hotel \u2014 and shows a \u201cprotester\u201d violently shoving\u00a0one officer, who\u00a0stumbles and nearly knocks the senator down.<\/p>\n

The Pauls thought \u201cthey might not make it.\u201d \u201cAll I could think of was the driver who was pulled from his car, viciously kicked in the head and left lying in his own blood in Portland, Ore., last week,\u201d Kelly Paul wrote.<\/p>\n

They weren\u2019t alone. GOP committeeman Chris Ager and his wife were also accosted by hooligans, who threatened, provoked and brushed up against them. They surrounded a bus of RNC attendees, terrorizing riders. Other BLMers launched a violent, anti-gay attack on Brandon Straka, founder of #WalkAway, a group of Democrats who quit their party because of its \u201crace-baiting,\u201d \u201cviolence\u201d and \u201cvitriol.\u201d<\/p>\n

The rioters clashed with DC police again over the weekend. And all this just days after BLM hecklers harassed random diners at DC eateries.<\/p>\n

Paul and his wife are 1,000 percent right in blaming both Democrats, who\u2019ve urged \u201cunrest\u201d in the streets, and the media<\/a>, who\u2019ve \u201cdownplayed\u201d the \u201cshootings, murder, looting and destruction.\u201d<\/p>\n

As if to prove that last point, an Associated Press story reported that Paul failed to supply evidence of an attack \u2014 even as the story described just that, along with pictures and a link to the video. The New York Times account stressed that the footage didn\u2019t show Paul \u201cphysically\u201d attacked.<\/p>\n

Idiocy: Anyone\u00a0encouraging and enabling these incidents is tearing at the very political fabric that holds the nation together. Do they really want to see America blown up?\n <\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
