\n Zendaya returned to the concert stage on Saturday for the first time in over half a decade as part of a surprise Coachella performance alongside Labrinth, which featured two hits from her HBO show Euphoria<\/em>. <\/p>\n

\n The fashion icon and Spider-Man: No Way Home<\/em> star app<\/a>eared towards the end of Labrinth\u2019s set in Coachella\u2019s Mojave Tent, performing the songs \u201cAll for Us\u201d from the show\u2019s first season and \u201cI\u2019m Tired\u201d from its second. The musical festival posted footage of the performance, which took place during the second day of the festival\u2019s second weekend, to its official Instagram account. <\/p>\n

\n Zendaya acknowledged the fact that it\u2019s been years since the Euphoria<\/em> star appeared on stage to sing live during a scheduled set in an Instagram Story discussing the \u201cmagical\u201d night. \u201cThank you all for welcoming me back on that stage with open arms. It\u2019s been a very long time, so I appreciate it,\u201d she said in one story she recorded in the early hours after her performance before heading to bed. <\/p>\n

\n In that same video, the actress and producer discussed the overwhelming response to her appearance on the stage while thanking the \u201cgorgeous\u201d crowd for coming. \u201cI have never heard screaming like that in my entire life. As soon as I turned the corner, I couldn\u2019t hear anything,\u201d she recalled of the \u201cspecial\u201d and \u201cso, so cool\u201d moment, which saw the crowd sing along. \u201cI don\u2019t know what happened. I don\u2019t know what I sounded like but I just was like, \u2018You know what? I\u2019m just going to have fun.’\u201d<\/p>\n

\n \u201cI just want to say thank you again for such a magical beautiful night,\u201d she added, referencing an earlier story featuring a written statement. \u201cThank you to Lab for inviting me and making all this happen so last minute.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n In that written statement, Zendaya thanked Labrinth, for giving her the \u201cmost beautiful safe space\u201d for her return to the stage. She also thanked the crowd, again, for their \u201clove\u201d and support, which she wrote \u201cmade all my nerves melt away.\u201d <\/p>\n

\n In response, Labrinth\u00a0reshared the statement to their own Instagram Story. \u201cThank you for blessing the stage with your fire energy!!\u201d the British singer, rapper, songwriter and record producer wrote. \u201cThis was a celebration of new beginnings and growth.\u201d <\/p>\n

\n Both Zendaya and Labrinth play a major role in the music of Euphoria<\/em>, with the latter serving as the HBO show\u2019s composer and producer of its original score. The two collaborated on multiple songs from the show\u2019s score, including the Emmy-nominated \u201cStill Don\u2019t Know My Name\u201d \u2014 which Labrinth co-wrote the lyrics to with the actress and Muzhda Zemar-McKenzie \u2014 as well as\u00a0the breakout hit \u201cAll For Us,\u201d which he sings with Zendaya. <\/p>\n

\n Labrinth\u2019s work on the series<\/a>\u2019 original music has garnered him four Emmy nominations and one win in the outstanding original music And lyrics category for \u201cAll for Us.\u201d This is not the first time at this year\u2019s Coachella Labrinth has made headlines with a surprise appearance. During the festival\u2019s first weekend, he brought mega-artist Billie Eilish on stage to perform \u201cNever Felt So Alone,\u201d which was then posted to his YouTube<\/a> channel in full. <\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
