\n An ex-military man who calls himself \u201c100% ANTIFA\u201d and ready for \u201cwar\u201d is being investigated over the death of Aaron \u201cJay\u201d Danielson, a \u201csupporter\u201d of the right-wing Patriot Prayer group who was part of a caravan of Trump supporters who flooded the city Saturday, police sources told The Oregonian. He was previously been cited for having a loaded gun at protests, the paper said.<\/p>\n

He was identified in part to a distinctive tattoo on his neck of a \u201cblack power\u201d fist \u2014 as well as a call from his estranged sister who recognized him in video and photos of the deadly attack, the paper said.<\/p>\n

The 36-year-old sister \u2014 who The Oregonian agreed not to name \u2014 was first alerted after a threatening call that woke her at 8 a.m. Sunday warning that \u201cour whole family was in danger unless we turned him over.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWe reached out to police and confirmed that we recognized Michael in the screenshots\u201d from the shooting, she told the paper.<\/p>\n

The father-of-two is estranged from most of his family \u2014 including his parents \u2014 after stealing from them, the sister said.<\/p>\n

\u201cOn the one hand, this whole thing surprises the daylights out of us, because we always thought he is a lot of bark, not a lot of bite,\u201d she said. \u201cBut he\u2019s also been very impulsive and irrational.\u201d<\/p>\n

She decried the shooting as \u201cnot the solution\u201d to the nation\u2019s problems.<\/p>\n

\u201cViolence begets violence and hatred begets hatred. This is not the solution. My heart goes out to the victim. It always has, before I even knew my brother was involved.\u201d<\/p>\n

Reinoehl, who has a son and daughter, regularly posts about Black Lives Matter and the protests on his social media<\/a> \u2014 which is now swamped with threats and pro-Trump messages in the comments.<\/p>\n

\u201cEvery Revolution needs people that are willing and ready to fight,\u201d he wrote in June, comparing it to his time in the Army.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am 100 % ANTIFA all the way! I am willing to fight for my brothers and sisters!\u201d he said, insisting he would not \u201crun\u201d from violence.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt will be a war and like all wars there will be casualties,\u201d he wrote, calling protesters and ANTIFA \u201cmy brothers in arms.\u201d<\/p>\n

He also claims to have been hit by a rubber bullet while working \u201csecurity\u201d at protests, and most recently posted video of a flag being burned by a mob chanting \u201cF\u2013k Trump.\u201d<\/p>\n

Reinoehl was cited at a July 5 protest on allegations of possessing a loaded gun in a public place, resisting arrest and interfering with police, The Oregonian said.<\/p>\n

He was given a date to app<\/a>ear in court later that month, but the allegations were dropped on July 30 with a \u201cno complaint,\u201d according to court records. No reason was given, and the Multnomah County District Attorney\u2019s office said it was reviewing the case.<\/p>\n

He had a slew of other charges \u2014 including being accused of racing his 17-year-old son at speeds of up to 111 mph in June, the paper said, citing state police.<\/p>\n

He was also previously charged with having a loaded Glock pistol, which he didn\u2019t have a concealed handgun license for, when once stopped with his 11-year-old daughter as a passenger, police told the paper.<\/p>\n

Portland Police Bureau did not immediately respond to requests for comment.\n <\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
