While they don\u2019t have \u201ccast\u201d in the name like a Google Chromecast, you can cast to a Roku streaming device from your Android phone, Windows PC, iPhone, iPad, or Mac.<\/p>\n<p>Roku screen mirroring works along with the Miracast open standard that\u2019s built into Windows 10, Windows 11, and Android. For iPhones, iPads, and Macs, we can use good old <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">App<\/a>le AirPlay. Let\u2019s get to it.<\/p>\n<h2 role=\"heading\" aria-level=\"2\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"How_to_Enable_Roku_Screen_Mirroring\"><\/span>How to Enable Roku Screen Mirroring<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Roku screen mirroring should be enabled by default, but we can double-check by going to Settings &gt; System &gt; Screen Mirroring &gt; Screen Mirroring Mode. You can choose to be prompted to allow screen mirroring every time or always allow it.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-878832\" data-pagespeed-lazy-src=\"https:\/\/www.howtogeek.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/2023_03_13-10_56-AM-Office-Lens-1.jpg?trim=1,1&amp;bg-color=000&amp;pad=1,1\" alt=\"Roku screen mirroring options.\" width=\"730\" height=\"238\" src=\"\/pagespeed_static\/1.JiBnMqyl6S.gif\" onload=\"pagespeed.lazyLoadImages.loadIfVisibleAndMaybeBeacon(this);\" onerror=\"this.onerror=null;pagespeed.lazyLoadImages.loadIfVisibleAndMaybeBeacon(this);\"\/><\/p>\n<p>Once you have screen mirroring enabled, we can use it with a Windows or Android device. <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.howtogeek.com\/818978\/roku-airplay\/\">The AirPlay settings are in a separate section of the Settings.<\/p>\n<h2 role=\"heading\" aria-level=\"2\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"How_to_Cast_to_Roku_TV_From_Android\"><\/span>How to Cast to Roku TV From Android<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.howtogeek.com\/690556\/how-to-wirelessly-mirror-your-android-phone-to-your-tv\/\">Mirroring an Android screen to\u00a0Roku\u00a0requires a device that supports\u00a0Miracast\u2014most Android devices support Miracast, except Google Pixel phones. It\u2019s probably not called \u201cMiracast,\u201d though. Manufacturers use a number of different names:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Smart View<\/li>\n<li>Quick Connect<\/li>\n<li>SmartShare<\/li>\n<li>AllShare Cast<\/li>\n<li>Wireless display<\/li>\n<li>Display mirroring<\/li>\n<li>HTC Connect<\/li>\n<li>Screen Casting<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>First, swipe down from the top of the screen once or twice\u2014depending on your device\u2014and select the Miracast button. Annoyingly, Google doesn\u2019t include the feature on Pixel devices, likely to push its \u201cChromecast built-in\u201d feature instead.<\/p>\n<h2 role=\"heading\" aria-level=\"2\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"How_to_Cast_from_Windows_to_Roku\"><\/span>How to Cast from Windows to Roku<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>You can cast to a Roku from Windows with the built-in \u201cConnect\u201d tool from the Quick Settings in Windows 11 or the Action Center in Windows 10.
