{"id":574653,"date":"2023-05-16T01:28:49","date_gmt":"2023-05-15T22:28:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/en.buradabiliyorum.com\/rudy-giuliani-sued-for-10-million-over-sexual-assault-allegations\/"},"modified":"2023-05-16T01:28:49","modified_gmt":"2023-05-15T22:28:49","slug":"rudy-giuliani-sued-for-10-million-over-sexual-assault-allegations","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/rudy-giuliani-sued-for-10-million-over-sexual-assault-allegations\/","title":{"rendered":"#Rudy Giuliani sued for $10 million over sexual assault allegations"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/thehill.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/12\/giulianirudy_081722_AP_John-Bazemore.jpeg?w=900\" \/><\/p>\n<div>\n<p>A former associate of Rudy Giuliani accuses the ex-Trump attorney of demanding sexual favors from her in a <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/eddsa.blob.core.usgovcloudapi.net\/public\/650033_2023_Noelle_Dunphy_v_Rudolph_W_Giuliani_et_al_COMPLAINT_10.pdf\">bombshell lawsuit<\/a> alleging \u201cunlawful abuses of power, wide-ranging sexual assault and harassment, wage theft and other misconduct.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Noelle Dunphy, former director of business development for several Giuliani-owned companies, filed a lawsuit Monday before the Supreme Court of the State of New York.<\/p>\n<aside class=\"ad-unit ad-unit--mr1_ab\"><\/aside>\n<p>Dunphy is seeking $10 million in compensation from Giuliani, who allegedly subjected her to constant sexual remarks, demands and threats.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe made clear that satisfying his sexual demands\u2014which came virtually anytime, anywhere\u2014was an absolute requirement of her employment and of his legal representation,\u201d the lawsuit reads.<\/p>\n<p>Giuliani \u201cworked aggressively\u201d to hire Dunphy in 2019, according to the lawsuit, and allegedly began abusing her \u201calmost im<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">media<\/a>tely\u201d after she started work.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cGiuliani began requiring Ms. Dunphy to work at his home and out of hotel rooms so that she would be at his beck and call. He drank morning, noon, and night, and was frequently intoxicated, and therefore his behavior was always unpredictable,\u201d Dunphy argues in the 70-page suit.<\/p>\n<p>The suit includes graphic anecdotes about Giuliani\u2019s alleged behavior toward his employee.<\/p>\n<p>The suit, which also names three of Giuliani\u2019s companies, further alleged that Giuliani \u201ctook Viagra constantly\u201d and that Dunphy \u201cworked under the constant threat that Giuliani might demand sex from her at any moment.\u201d<\/p>\n<aside class=\"ad-unit ad-unit--mr2_ab\"><\/aside>\n<p>\u201cIn addition to his sexual demands, Giuliani went on alcohol-drenched rants that included sexist, racist, and antisemitic remarks, which made the work environment unbearable,\u201d the suit contends.<\/p>\n<p>Giuliani, a former New York City mayor, allegedly also offered Dunphy \u201cpro bono legal representation\u201d related to a dispute with an abusive ex-partner \u2014 but told Dunphy that her his employment of her would be \u201ckept \u2018secret\u2019\u201d and her pay deferred until his then-ongoing divorce had finished, according to suit.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cUnfortunately, Giuliani\u2019s seemingly generous offers were a sham motivated by his secret desire to pursue a sexual relationship with Ms. Dunphy,\u201d the suit argued.<\/p>\n<aside class=\"ad-unit ad-unit--mr3_ab\"><\/aside>\n<p>The wide-ranging filing also includes allegations that the former Trump attorney was \u201cselling pardons for $2 million, which he and President Trump would split,\u201d and that he gave Dunphy access to his email account containing \u201cprivileged, confidential, and highly sensitive\u201d information.<\/p>\n<p>CBS <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/news\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"2\" title=\"News\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">News<\/a> <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.cbsnews.com\/newyork\/news\/bombshell-lawsuit-accuses-rudolph-giuliani-of-sexual-harassment-wage-theft-and-more\/\">reported that Giuliani\u2019s attorney<\/a> said he \u201ccategorically denies all of the allegations of this frivolous complaint.\u201d A spokesperson called the suit \u201cpure harassment and an attempt at extortion\u201d in a statement to <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/abc7ny.com\/rudy-giuliani-sexual-assault-harassment-wage-theft\/13251048\/\">ABC New York station WABC<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>Copyright 2023 Nexstar Media Inc.
