Ron DeSantis (R) saw both of his endorsed candidates lose their races on Tuesday, as the Florida governor is rumored to be readying for a possible presidential bid.<\/p>\n<p>DeSantis stepped into the Kentucky GOP\u2019s gubernatorial primary to back former U.N. ambassador Kelly Craft \u00a0\u2014 endorsing Craft just a day before the election in the state.\u00a0<\/p>\n<aside class=\"ad-unit ad-unit--mr1_ab\"><\/aside>\n<p>But Craft was projected to lose the Republican primary race to Kentucky Attorney <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/general\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"3\" title=\"General\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">General<\/a> Daniel Cameron, who was backed by former President Trump.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Trump is running to retake the presidency in 2024 \u2014 and though DeSantis hasn\u2019t officially launched a bid, he\u2019s a rumored top potential Trump challenger and is expected to get in the race. <\/p>\n<p>Democrats also flipped control of the Jacksonville, Fla., mayor\u2019s office, with Democrat Donna Deegan defeating Republican Daniel Davis to succeed Mayor Lenny Curry (R). DeSantis had also <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.jacksonville.com\/story\/news\/politics\/elections\/local\/2023\/03\/31\/governor-ron-desantis-endorses-republican-daniel-davis-for-jacksonville-mayor\/70069844007\/\">backed<\/a> Davis in the race.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>DeSantis had said over the weekend that the GOP needs to \u201creject the culture of losing that has infected our party in recent years.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>Trump pushed back on the remarks, saying \u201cRon is not a winner.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In a victory speech late Tuesday, GOP gubernatorial primary winner Cameron <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.courier-journal.com\/videos\/news\/2023\/05\/17\/kentucky-attorney-general-daniel-cameron-wins-gop-nominee-2023-may-primary\/11885397002\/\">quipped<\/a>, \u201cLet me just say, the Trump culture of winning is alive and well in Kentucky!\u201d <\/p>\n<aside class=\"ad-unit ad-unit--mr2_ab\"><\/aside>\n<p><em>\u2013Updated at 7:51 a.m.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>Copyright 2023 Nexstar <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Media<\/a> Inc.
