\n Conan O\u2019Brien is back in business with Warner Bros. Discovery.<\/p>\n

\n The former late night host has set Conan O\u2019Brien Must Go<\/em>, a four-episode international travel<\/a> series<\/a> that sees him return to the conglomerate after Conan <\/em>signed off in 2021 following an 11-year run.<\/p>\n

\n The new series, which is already in production, will see O\u2019Brien travel across the globe to visit new people he has met through his podcast, Conan O\u2019Brien Needs a Fan<\/em>.<\/p>\n

\n \u201cMy fans around the globe never asked me to visit them, so I did,\u201d O\u2019Brien said in a cheeky statement announcing the series Wednesday. The project was formally unveiled during Warner Bros. Discovery\u2019s upfront presentation \u2014 where he was a staple during the company\u2019s former Turner presentations that predated the Warner Bros.-Discovery merger. O\u2019Brien\u2019s Conaco will produce the series, with his longtime exec producer Jeff Ross also attached.<\/p>\n

\n \u201cConan\u00a0is a national treasure \u2026 at least that\u2019s what he keeps telling me,\u201d said HBO exec vp programming Nina Rosenstein. \u201cIt\u2019s been an absolute dream to work with him, Jeff and the whole Conaco team. They\u2019re everything you\u2019d hope for \u2014 insanely smart, ridiculously funny and nicer than they\u2019d probably want to admit.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n The travel series is not new ground for O\u2019Brien, who previously won an Emmy for his TBS series Conan Without Borders <\/em>(which now streams on Max). He has visited 13 countries and his podcast has nearly 430 million download<\/a>s since its launch in 2018.<\/p>\n

\n O\u2019Brien first previewed the Max travel show on his podcast early last year, noting that he had hoped to return to doing remote segments \u00e0 la Conan Without Borders<\/em>.<\/p>\n

\n Max (which is being rebranded from HBO Max) first announced plans to re-team with O\u2019Brien in late 2020 when corporate sibling TBS announced that Conan <\/em>would end in 2021 and that the veteran of late night would segue to a weekly variety series for the streamer.<\/p>\n
