The road to such a union has been rocky: Last month, indie label Topshelf Records claimed Bandcamp executives had asked them to cease their support for unionizing efforts at the online audio distribution platform. But Bandcamp and Bandcamp United have now jointly announced that eligible workers at the company voted 31-7 today (May 19) \u201cin favor of forming Bandcamp United, a union represented by the Office and Professional Employees International Union (OPEIU).
