Land Man<\/em> has added three new faces to its cast. The new drama series<\/a> from Taylor Sheridan (Yellowstone<\/em>) will feature Ali Larter, Michelle Randolph, and Jacob Lofland alongside series lead Billy Bob Thornton. Randolph previously starred in Sheridan\u2019s 1923<\/em> series.<\/p>\n

Paramount+ revealed the following about the series in an earlier release:<\/p>\n

Based on the notable 11-part podcast \u201cBoomtown,\u201d LAND MAN is set in the proverbial boomtowns of West-Texas and is a modern-day tale of fortune-seeking in the world of oil rigs. The series is an upstairs\/downstairs story of roughnecks and wildcat billionaires that are fueling a boom so big it\u2019s reshaping our climate, our economy and our geopolitics.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

\u201cWe are in the privileged position to be able to work with people that we truly admire,\u201d said David C. Glasser, CEO of 101 Studios. \u201cWith Land Man<\/em>, Taylor developed it with Billy Bob in mind, and we were thrilled when he came on board. He is not only one of the greatest actors of our generation but also a true creative partner.\u201d<\/p>\n

Variety<\/a> revealed the following about the roles the new additions will play:<\/p>\n

Randolph will star as Ainsley Norris, described as \u201cthe wild and strong-willed seventeen-year-old daughter of Tommy Norris (Thornton).\u201d Lofland will play Cooper Norris, \u201cTommy\u2019s son, who is new to the demanding work in the oil and gas fields of west Texas.\u201d Larter will play Angela, Tommy\u2019s ex-wife.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

A premiere date for Land Man<\/em> will be announced later.<\/p>\n
