Is it the smoking gun though? The nail in the coffin?<\/p>\n<div style=\"min-height:120px;width:100%;float:none;\">\n<div id=\"section-64781e371147b-paragraph-slot\" class=\"lazyload-unit\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>To recap, since there are oh so many Trump legal perils these days\u2026 Last year we found out the <strong>National Archives<\/strong> had been trying for months to get back documents from the former POTUS, basically ever since he left office. If he\u2019d just given them back, it wouldn\u2019t have been a big deal \u2014 like it wasn\u2019t for VP <strong>Mike Pence<\/strong> or for President\u00a0<strong>Joe Biden<\/strong>, both of whom were found to have had some docs in private residences, where they weren\u2019t supposed to. But see, Trump\u2019s team allegedly deflected then eventually outright LIED about having the docs.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Related: Trump Allegedly Practiced Hiding Documents From Feds<\/strong><\/p>\n<div class=\"clear\"><\/div>\n<p>So the\u00a0<strong>FBI<\/strong> had to be called in \u2014 they raided Mar-A-Lago, the former President\u2019s Palm Beach, Florida, resort and found dozens of classified documents there, WAY more than anyone in the press had realized, that\u2019s for sure. Not only that, these were Top Secret docs, some so highly classified they were never supposed to leave a special reading room. We\u2019re talking national defense documents, nuclear secrets \u2014 stuff a private citizen, even a former president, had no business keeping. The type of stuff that gets people charged with espionage! Obviously that had never h<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>ened with a former president before, so the government has been all kid gloves here. The\u00a0<strong>DOJ<\/strong> tapped a special counsel to lead the investigation, and goodness it has led to some shockers\u2026<\/p>\n<div style=\"min-height:120px;width:100%;float:none;\">\n<div id=\"section-64781e3711481-paragraph-slot\" class=\"lazyload-unit\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"The_Tape\"><\/span>The Tape<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>OK so here\u2019s the latest: <em>CNN<\/em> has learned one of the most \u201cimportant\u201d pieces of evidence in this case is another leaked tape \u2014 only instead of talking about being inappropriate with women he\u2019s talking about grabbing some national security secrets. Multiple sources told the <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/news\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"2\" title=\"News\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">news<\/a> org that federal prosecutors have obtained audio of Trump, from July 2021, acknowledging he has top secret docs \u2014 and admitting he KNOWS HE SHOULDN\u2019T! That\u2019s important, keep that in mind.<\/p>\n<p>During a meeting at his Bedminster, New Jersey golf club, per the sources, Trump says in a room full of aides, as well as two authors working on former chief of staff <strong>Mark Meadows<\/strong>\u2018 memoir, that he held onto a document from the Pentagon that he knows he\u2019s not supposed to have anymore. Apparently, he tells them, the document describes a potential attack by the US on Iran.<\/p>\n<div class=\"clear\"><\/div>\n<p class=\"highlight\">WHAT THE ACTUAL EFF?!<\/p>\n<div style=\"min-height:120px;width:100%;float:none;\">\n<div id=\"section-64781e3711487-paragraph-slot\" class=\"lazyload-unit\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>This is what we mean when we\u2019re talking about national secrets. Imagine how much this would be worth to the government of Iran or private contractors who could work for them! There\u2019s no value to anyone else, of course. So why would he want it?? Except maybe bragging rights? Remember when we heard Trump had been showing off classified docs to Mar-a-Lago visitors? It\u2019s a really stupid reason to compromise national defense, much dumber than getting paid billions of dollars \u2014 but that doesn\u2019t make it <em>not<\/em> a violation of the Espionage Act. Per the sources, no one in that room had security clearances that would give them access to classified information AT ALL, much less this level.<\/p>\n<p>Apparently Meadows\u2019 ghostwriters were taking notes, too. Second, because he mentions he kept it even though he wasn\u2019t supposed to, it\u2019s proof he knew he was doing something wrong! So when the National Archives came calling, he knew he was supposed to return it!<\/p>\n<p>Third, and this is a big one, during the meeting he mentions specifically that the document is still classified. Why does that matter?<\/p>\n<div class=\"clear\"><\/div>\n<p>Well, Trump\u2019s big argument against criminal charges in this case is saying he did nothing wrong because he had\u00a0<em>declassified<\/em> all the material \u2014 he just hadn\u2019t told anyone. Remember? He told pal <strong>Sean Hannity<\/strong> on prime time TV he could do it with his mind:<\/p>\n<div style=\"min-height:120px;width:100%;float:none;\">\n<div id=\"section-64781e3711491-paragraph-slot\" class=\"lazyload-unit\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cThere doesn\u2019t have to be a process, as I understand it. You\u2019re the president of the United States, you can declassify just by saying it\u2019s declassified, even by thinking about it.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>First off, that\u2019s not true \u2014 and would make him sound like a bit of an idiot if he actually believed it.<\/p>\n<div class=\"clear\"><\/div>\n<p><a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/giphy.com\/gifs\/theoffice-8nM6YNtvjuezzD7DNh\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"lazyload\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"480\" src=\"https:\/\/media0.giphy.com\/media\/8nM6YNtvjuezzD7DNh\/giphy.gif\" alt=\"Season 4 Episode 6 GIF by The Office - Find &amp; Share on GIPHY\" height=\"400\"><\/a><\/p>\n<div style=\"min-height:120px;width:100%;float:none;\">\n<div id=\"section-64781e3711495-paragraph-slot\" class=\"lazyload-unit\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>But this seems to be proof he never believed that BS anyway! Two sources told\u00a0<em>CNN<\/em> that on this audio tape Trump expressly mentions he \u201cwould like to share the information\u201d in the document with them but knows he isn\u2019t able to declassify it since he isn\u2019t president anymore.<\/p>\n<p class=\"highlight\">Bam.<\/p>\n<div class=\"clear\"><\/div>\n<p>If he acknowledges in summer of 2021 that it\u2019s still classified, and that he kept it even though he shouldn\u2019t, and that he knew he wasn\u2019t able to <em>declassify<\/em> it, that\u2019s pretty much the whole ball <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/game\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"7\" title=\"Game\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">game<\/a>, right?<\/p>\n<div style=\"min-height:120px;width:100%;float:none;\">\n<div id=\"section-64781e371149a-paragraph-slot\" class=\"lazyload-unit\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>The most obvious legal case against Trump here has always been obstruction of justice. After all, it seemed pretty clear ever since that FBI raid that the ex-POTUS was lying about having given back all the classified documents. Obstruction is all about proving the suspect\u00a0<em>knew<\/em> they were guilty of a crime \u2014 and that\u2019s why they were covering it up. This seems to be the smoking gun, right?<\/p>\n<p>What do YOU think about this latest piece of evidence?
