Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg officiated an outdoor wedding on Sunday, just weeks after her hospitalization in July.<\/p>\n

The 87-year-old, who is being treated for cancer, presided over the marriage of family friends Barb Solish and Danny Kazin.<\/p>\n

\u201c2020 has been rough, but yesterday was Supreme,\u201d Solish, the communications director for the National Alliance on Mental Illness, tweeted alongside a photo of Ginsburg during the nuptials.<\/p>\n

Ginsburg wore her black judicial robe with a decorative black and white embroidered collar, and accessorized the look with pearl earrings.<\/p>\n

The bride noted on Twitter<\/a> that both she and her husband \u201ctested negative\u201d for COVID-19 before the ceremony.<\/p>\n

The judge is a close friend of one of the newlyweds\u2019 families and the celebration took place at a private residence, a court spokeswoman said. But it wasn\u2019t clear where, exactly, in the country the wedding was held.<\/p>\n

Ginsburg revealed in July that she was undergoing chemotherapy for a recurrence of cancer \u2014 but insisted she had no plans to retire.<\/p>\n
