Lewis III never played for the Hurricanes and transferred to Coastal Carolina in 2015 after two years at Miami, one of them as a redshirt.<\/p>\n<p>Lewis III played 12 <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/game\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"7\" title=\"Game\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">game<\/a>s at Coastal Carolina as a kick return specialist and defensive back.<a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-i13n=\"cpos:3;pos:1\" href=\"https:\/\/www.baltimoresun.com\/sports\/ravens\/bal-son-of-ray-lewis-accused-of-sexual-assault-at-coastal-carolina-20160429-story.html\" data-ylk=\"slk:He was accused of criminal sexual conduct;cpos:3;pos:1;elm:context_link;itc:0\" class=\"link rapid-noclick-resp\"> He was accused of criminal sexual conduct<\/a> at Coastal Carolina and transferred again to Virginia Union. Charges against him <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-i13n=\"cpos:4;pos:1\" href=\"https:\/\/www.wbtw.com\/news\/criminal-sexual-conduct-charge-dropped-against-ray-lewis-iii\/\" data-ylk=\"slk:were later dismissed;cpos:4;pos:1;elm:context_link;itc:0\" class=\"link rapid-noclick-resp\">were later dismissed<\/a>. He went on to play the 2017 season with Virginia Union. His coach at Virginia Union Mark James spoke about Lewis III <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-i13n=\"cpos:5;pos:1\" href=\"https:\/\/www.baltimoresun.com\/sports\/ravens\/bs-sp-ray-lewis-iii-death-20230616-q5jjjkbehbfyvajn7364whlhay-story.html\" data-ylk=\"slk:with the Baltimore Sun;cpos:5;pos:1;elm:context_link;itc:0\" class=\"link rapid-noclick-resp\">with the Baltimore Sun<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Ray was a tremendous young man who played with the spirit of a lion,&#8221; James said. &#8220;He was a great asset to the Virginia Union family. He will always be a Panther.
