Chris Christie (R) and former Attorney <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/general\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"3\" title=\"General\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">General<\/a> Bill Barr each took jabs at former President Trump on Sunday, comparing him to a child and casting him as unfit to lead the country.<\/p>\n<p>Trump was recently indicted on 37 counts of criminal conduct related to his handling of classified documents, including obstruction of a federal investigation and willful retention of national defense information.\u00a0<\/p>\n<aside class=\"ad-unit ad-unit--mr1_ab\"><\/aside>\n<p>The indictment against him outlines the lengths he allegedly took to retain classified information, despite repeated efforts by the federal government to retrieve the documents. Trump pleaded not guilty to the charges and maintains his innocence.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Barr, who served as Trump\u2019s attorney general toward the end of his presidency, called Trump a \u201cconsummate narcissist,\u201d who \u201cconstantly engages in reckless conduct.\u201d Barr said Republicans ought to carefully consider whether he is the best candidate to lead their party and compared Trump to a nine-year-old child.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe will always put his own interests, and gratifying his own ego, ahead of everything else, including the country\u2019s interest, there\u2019s no question about it,\u201d Barr said of Trump, in an interview with Robert Costa on CBS <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/news\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"2\" title=\"News\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">News<\/a>\u2019s \u201cFace the Nation.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe\u2019s like a nine-year-old, defiant nine-year-old kid, who\u2019s always pushing the glass toward the edge of the table, defying his parents to stop him from doing it. It\u2019s a means of self-assertion and exerting his dominance over other people. And he\u2019s a very petty individual who will always put his interests ahead of the country\u2019s, his personal gratification of his ego, but our country can\u2019t be a therapy session for a troubled man like this,\u201d Barr said of Trump.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>In a separate interview Sunday with Jake T<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>er on CNN\u2019s \u201cState of the Union,\u201d Christie, the former New Jersey governor and current Republican presidential primary candidate dismissed Trump\u2019s attacks on former officials he personally appointed to serve in his Cabinet. Christie compared Trump to a \u201cpetulant child\u201d lashing out at those who disagree with him.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Christie, who helped both of Trump\u2019s previous bids at the White House, recalled Trump\u2019s promise in 2016 to hire the best people to work in his Cabinet and that he would know how to manage them well. Christie then listed various officials who left his administration and who subsequently faced a barrage of insults about their intelligence and competence.\u00a0<\/p>\n<aside class=\"ad-unit ad-unit--mr2_ab\"><\/aside>\n<p>\u201cDonald Trump, if you believe what he said when they left, that means he didn\u2019t pick the very best people and doesn\u2019t know how to pick personnel. If you believe what \u2014 about them what he said at the beginning, the great stuff, then this guy is the worst manager in the history of the American presidency,\u201d Christie said of Trump.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEither way, Republicans should listen to what he says.
